When I was younger I had a toy car just like this one, and some of my favorite memories revolve around it. So, for my daughter's birthday my husband and I decided to buy her a car of her own. She absolutely loves it! It's big enough for her and her friend to fit into (and our dog can even go along for a ride!) We've never had any issues with her being unsafe, but we did have an issue with the "radio." It worked well for several months, but then it suddenly stopped working. We can't figure out what the issue is, but our daughter doesn't really mind -- she never used it much when it was working, anyway. Overall, I'm a big fan of this toy. It provides my daughter with endless entertainment that's safe. My favorite thing about this toy is that it keeps her outside instead of looking at a computer or TV screen. If you're on the fence about getting this, take the plunge! Although it's Barbie-themed, don't let that deter you from getting it for both of your children. Our son enjoys it, too!

My niece has been driving the Power Wheels Barbie Ford Mustang from sun up to sun down for the past couple of weeks since I gave it to her. One reason why I picked this car was that it has 2 speeds for safety. When she's driving alone it only goes 2.5 mph, but when she has a friend in the car it gets up to 5 mph because the increase in weight. The best feature about this Mustang is that it can run for hours on a single charge without performance declining. The battery also doesn't dissipate severely when not in use, which allows for fewer charging cycles. I also like that once her foot leaves the accelerator the car comes to a complete stop. The only complaint I can think of about this car is that it doesn't have a real radio like some of the other Power Wheels cars. The fake radio does play short music clips, which seems to be okay with my niece. I would definitely recommend the Power Wheels Barbie Ford Mustang because the battery will last for several hours with continuous use and it's extremely safe for kids.
