First, I love the plastic applicators. They feel much, much cleaner and safer than the cardboard ones. The slide perfectly in place, and do not move, or feel uncomfortable like some other brands. I have never had a leak while wearing any playtex brand.

So, every woman has to do this. And if you are looking for a great tampon, buy the Playtex Gentle Glide Unscented Tampons. I recommend these for beginners who are just learning how to use a tampon. The reason why I say that is because, these are gentle glide. The applicator is very easy to use. It is also a smaller tampon than others like Playtex Sport or something. So these are great for beginner girls/ women. Even though it is smaller, they don't leak. They are also easier to remove because they are smaller. So, if you are looking for a great beginner tampon, look for these!

A period is never fun. Ever. These Playtex Gentle Glide Unscented Tampons make the week-long suffering a little better. They work great. They are comfortable. I was skeptical at first, as the thought of how tampons work didn't seem comfortable in the least bit. These are really great! The applicator is awesome--who in the world uses tampons without applicators? These truly are "gentle glide" tampons. They go right in and they are really easy to manage and remove as needed. I never have trouble with leaking while using these Playtex tampons. I usually only use Regular absorbency, and they do the job for me. Tampons are always priced a little higher than I'd like to pay for them, but these are well worth every penny. Another plus is that coupons are frequently released for these Playtex tampons, making it even less expensive. Way to go Playtex for making these Gentle Glide Unscented Regular Tampons and making our periods a little more bearable. :)

I've tried nearly every tampon out there and I'm in love with playtex gentle glide tampons! It's the protection I need and want. They're super absorbant, I never have any worries about leaking when I use them and they're easy to insert and remove. I wish I would have tried these when I was a 'newbie', too bad it took me 15 years...I probably would have been a lot happier. They are a little more expensive than other brands but in my opinion, worth it. You can often find printable coupons on the major sites and pair them up with store sales and score playtex gentle glide tampons for the price of the generic store brand. I often ask friends and family to print one for me or save the coupon out of Sunday's paper (if I know there's one) and stock up. Awhile back you could get a free sample from their site, I don't know if it's still availiable though. I have no complaints about playtex gentle glide tampons and tell all my friends about them when 'that' topic comes up.

**Playtex Gentle Glide Tampons** help make an unpleasant time of the month more bearable. All of the absorbencies work well for the varying phases of your period. I thought about reviewing these; and, I must admit it is a bit embarrassing. I wanted to share my experience; because, I think it may be helpful. For whatever reason (probably genetics) my periods have always been pretty bad. I have dealt with irregular, extremely heavy periods since I first started having them. Up until not very long ago, there weren't any tampons available above the Super Plus variety. Upon finding that Playtex made an ultra tampon, I was relieved. I was tired of having to deal with sleeping and waking up to find my tampon... and back up pad were soaked through and leaking. These tampons have been a great help to me. I don't dread going to bed during my period any more. If you struggle with heavy periods, or just need a tampon for the lighter days, Playtex has the tampon for you!

Playtex Gentle Glide is the best tampon that I have ever used. I have tried all types of tampons as they have gone on sale. I find myself just wanting to get rid of the other ones so that I can use the Playtex ones instead. They have the best applicator. I think that the design is good because it seems to use less plastic than other brands. It is also easy to apply. Though I wish that the applicator was a little more eco friendly, plastic is the only way to go. I hate the cardboard applicators. They are not smooth or easy to apply. Playtex tampons are very absorbent and the design of them makes it less likely to leak. I also like that you can get the absorbency up to ultra, which is a step above super plus. The regular ones are fantastic for lighter days. I trust Playtex tampons more that I trust any other kind. They tend to be a little more expensive than other brands, but with coupons and sales, it is not too bad. It is worth the cost in my opinion.

I have a bleeding disorder, and as a woman with a bleeding disorder, that "time of month" can be absolute hell.  That being said, the ONLY tampons I will buy are Playtex Gentle Glide (super absorbant) unscented. I've tried the regular, but for ME they aren't enough...I think for the average person they would probably be sufficient.  I like the unscented better because once the scent of the tampon mixes with the scent of what's going on down there, it's not such a pretty scent anymore.  I like the plastic applicator because they are very easily to insert, where as the cardboard applicators are difficult and seem to get caught on themselves, making me waste product.  They are something I HAVE to buy, but I do have a choice of brand, and I will always choose Playtex Gentle Glide, even if they cost more.  I would definitely recommend these tampons to anyone wanting an easy to use tampon or someone that needs to find a really absorbent tampon.  They would be great for those individuals just learning to use tampons as well.

Platytex Gentle Glide Tampons are the best tampons i have ever used.. They are simple and easy to apply with no effort. other tampons i have used before have been hard to apply and uncomfortable . Playtex gentle glide are true to their name they glide in easy and once applied i can't feel it. they are very gentle on my body. I am in total comfort and worry free.. I prefer a plastic applicator i think its alot less fuss then a cardboard one. I highly recommend this tampon for anyone especially if your brand new at using tampons. These tampons come in different sizes and you can get them in scented and unscented. I have never had a problem with removing these platex gentle glide tampons they are just as easy to remove as they are to insert. I never have a problem with leaks either once inserted this tampon is super absorbent. Although they are a big pricey, i swear by them and won't use any other tampon. often i am able to find a great coupon on-line or a great sale . Try them out they are the best out there

I wish my mom had given me a box of these when I first started my period. Instead, she gave me one with the cheap cardboard applicator and said to put it in. So I put it all the way in. She said it should feel comfortable and it didn't. That's when she realized that I left the whole thing in, applicator and all.  It was painful to walk. But, even later when I learned how to use them, I was still uncomfortable with the applicators.  It was not until years later when I was at a friends house did I discover the miracle of Playtex Gentle Glide! They are the savior to many women. They go in so smoothly and and comfortable to apply.  They offer great protection too! It is nice that they are unscented and offer a healthier environment for your gentle area.  You will have to pay for the comfort, don't get me wrong! These are not cheap like its cardboard sisters.  These are perfect, however, for first time users. make sure you buy a box for your daughter!! and don't be cheap!

this product is great for on the go. i love this product and i have never had any problems with leaks. they are very comfortable and they come in a variety of sizes to choose from. the plastic applicator makes it easy to use and extremely comfortable when applying. i would recommend this very comfortable product to anyone.
