The Playtex Coolster Tumbler is great for kids who are transitioning out being too old and cool for the sippy cup, but yet still need something that is spill proof.  The tumbler looks just like a grown-ups water bottle (and actually can be used as one if you take the spill proof part out), but it is made just for the needs of kids.  The Playtex Coolster Tumbler is insulated so you can fill it with ice and a cold beverage and it will stay cool on hot summer days.  The tumbler is easy for older toddlers to grab since it has a curved design to it.  It's nice and sturdy so if it gets dropped it won't break or crack.  Its size is not too large that it won't fit in most cup holders in the car or carseats. I think the one think I don't like about the Playtex Coolster Tumbler is that it comes in mostly girl colors.  It would be nice to have it come in a very definate boy color.  Other than that, it's a great choice for a mature sippy cup.

I love that this doesn't look like your standard sippy cup,has a larger capacity & doesn't leak. However the price for just one of these is a bit on the high end. We had one for my son & he loved it until the cover some how locked onto it. I tried everything to get it open but ended up having to throw it away.

My kids are a little bit older now, but while they were in the 'sippie cup' years it was a nightmare trying to find the perfect cup.  I went through ones with straws, plastic ones without the rubber flow vent, harder plastic ones with the vent, nothing satisfied me.  A friend has the Coolster Tumbler for her little one, and I went out and bought one right away for my then 1.5 year old son.  It touts that it's supposed to help them learn to drink from a regular cup, and while that might be true, I love that it's spill proof, break-proof, and in fun colors.  It's very easy to clean, unlike many other cups, especially the ones with the straws which tend to get mildewy.  The capacity is relatively the same as other larger-size cups, but it's great for traveling, as it won't spill in your car and if it acidentally gets left on the floor for long periods of time in the kids rooms, it won't leak!  Thank you Playtex for this amazing cup!

My son loves the Playtex Coolster Tumbler sippy cup!  And I love that it doesn't leak like his old ones.  I would recommend this cup to any parent of a toddler!  It's really nice that this sippy cup will hold ten ounces of liquid.  Most sippy cups seem to only contain eight ounces.  I got my son a green and a blue one.  There are other colors for girls and the colors are nice and classy.  This cup is easy to clean and it locks nicely to keep the little ones from getting the lid off.  The lid has a rubber/plastic(both maybe...not sure.) insert that keeps liquid from spilling out but it can be removed for cleaning and you can stop using it when your child is old enough not to spill.  These cups come in multiple stages so they can grow from stage to stage and get used to using a cup one step at a time.  It's great to see my son learning little by little how to use a cup without getting overwhelmed.

In the quest to find a sippy cup/training cup that does not leak, we purchased the Playtex Coolster Tumbler.  Our hopes were high.  Unfortunately, we were disappointed.  As sippy cups/training cups go, it is just ok.  My son loves that the Playtex Coolster Tumbler looks more like mommy's cup, so he does not fight drinking out of it. The cup fits his hand well, makes it easy for him to carry. There is also a slightly narrower center in the cup, so if you use a sippy cup/training cup "leash", the strap does not slide off the tumbler.  The cup also holds a good amount of liquid so you do not have to constantly keep refilling the cup.  Another plus is that the silicone flow control is easily to remove so when you no longer need it, the cup can act as a regular travel cup.  The downside is that like all other sippy cups/training cups that we have tried, it leaks.  It is suppose to have a "locking" lid that prevents this, but everyone I have used leaks.  With that said, it is an ok cup. Not great, not bad.
