This is such an awesome product. I like to use it before brushing my teeth and feel that it really does a good job of helping my toothbrush get rid of all that nasty plaque on my teeth. This isn't what you would consider a mouthwash as much as it is an assistant to brushing your teeth, so use it before brushing your teeth. This really is an interesting product and I haven't seen another one like it. But I feel it is worth it for the cleanest, freshest mouth possible. This will help you to reduce your cavities and even gingivitis because you're also helping your gums while taking care of your teeth. Plus you'll kill germs that are on your tongue and on the insides of your cheeks, so it really does more than what it says it is designed to do. The flavor also isn't too intense so you won't have that burning sensation we all dread when we use any of the products similar to this one.

I have had some seriously terrible looking plaque and tartar build up on my teeth for the past few months, so much so, that I have been embarrassed to smile. The plaque had built up between my teeth and made it look grotesquely discolored. I'll be geting my teeth cleaned at the dentist finally next week, but I have events coming up before then and was desperate to do something ASAP. I found out about Plax through a review on Youtube just yesterday and picked the soft mint flavor of Plax up today. As soon as I got home this afternoon, I tried it out. This stuff is absolutely amazing. After just one rinse with Plax and brushing my teeth, most of the plaque that was visible on my teeth before was gone and my teeth were noticeably whiter! I used it again this evening and my teeth were even whiter after! My teeth also feel amazingly cleaner than they have when I have just brushed, flossed and used listerine. I'm already sold on this stuff after just two uses- this is a must have addition to your dental hygiene regimen. My confidence is back and all it cost me was four bucks at the grocery store!

I have a rigorous oral hygiene regimen: floss (with the[ Reach Access Flosser][1] ), then Plax Plaque Loosening rinse, brush (with the [Oral-B cross-action manual toothbrush][2] ), then ACT anti-cavity rinse. It takes a good 20 minutes (if not more) for me to properly clean my teeth at night. I am prone to cavities, and have had more than my share of dental work. In order to avoid any more unnecessary visits to the dentist, I have come up with this oral care regimen. So far, it's working. I have fairly recently added the Plax Advanced Formula Plaque Loosening Rinse to the routine. I felt like I was getting my mouth clean before without it, but I have noticed a marked difference in how my teeth feel after I use it. I have the Soft Mint flavor, and it does have a hint of mintyness, not as much as a mouthwash. Probably just enough to mask whatever flavor is present there beforehand. You use approximately one tablespoon of the Plax Advanced Formula Plaque Loosening Rinse, and swish it around your mouth vigorously for 30 seconds. Spit it out, and then follow up with a toothbrush and toothpaste, such as you normally would. It says on the bottle that Plax Advanced Formula Plaque Loosening Rinse is clinically proven to remove more plaque than brushing alone. I haven't seen the empirical data, but just in my experience, I can tell my teeth are cleaner. The surfaces feel smoother, and when I wake up in the morning, my "morning breath" is significantly less... well, gross and there is less of a film to brush off. Plax Advanced Formula Plaque Loosening Rinse has a pleasant taste and is not very expensive. One thing I wish it had was a measuring cup or device so you could measure out one tablespoon. The regular (child-proof) cap is pretty deep, so I just estimate what would be one tablespoon and use that. If you are looking for the cleanest teeth possible, I suggest using Plax Advanced Formula Plaque Loosening Rinse every time before you brush your teeth. Its light minty flavor is refreshing and I am sure you'll notice the clean feel of your teeth after using it. Five stars.
