I received this as a stocking stuffer gift for Christmas last year, and totally fell in love with it. I have very dry skin and it is especially bad during the cold winter months. This salt scrub works so well at removing all the dry flaky skin and leaving me feeling soft, smooth and refreshed. I really love the scent of it as well, and I love using it when I need most in the winter months, because of the smell, it reminds me of Christmas time. The Gingerbread Man Hot salt scrub is such an awesome product, I highly recommend this to anyone. I feel it working almmost instantly and just love the effect it has on my skin. I actually use it mainly on my face and feet as those are my very dry areas. I really love how well it removed the dry skin on my feet as a lot of body scubs don't really help to remove the dry dead skin from my feet very well. I think the price is good for this product given how well it works, truly an awesome scrub

This is an unusual product for sure, but definitely one that is worth trying out. I love a good scrub, and when I received this in my Christmas stocking, I knew it would be a lot of fun to try. I love the smell of gingerbread, so it made me happy right from the moment I opened the container. I was a little nervous about the "hot salt" part of it, since I wasn't totally sure what that meant. It is certainly a strange sensation, because once you start to use the product, you can actually feel it heating up! I was worried that it would be uncomfortable, but it never got hotter than a pleasant warmth. It was a little like putting on a heating pad, and it was so nice during the cold winter months. It made my skin look great and my muscles were relaxed, so it was like a two-in-one spa treatment! Effectiveness The warmth felt great and my skin looked and felt wonderful! Scent The scent is sweet and amazing! I loved it.

My friends and family know that I love any type of bath product so I received this in my stocking as a stocking stuffer gift this past Christmas! My mom saw the allure readers choice label and knew that I would love this Philosophy The Gingerbread Man hot salt scrub! I really like this scrub because I think it really works well with the heat of my shower to buffer away my dead skin, leaving soft new smooth skin in its place. It was very luxurious to use, like being at a Christmas themed spa. I noticed afterwards that this scrub left my skin looking really fresh and radiant and not dull. I felt really soft as well and my skin smelled really great like a hot gingerbread girl. It was really soothing to use and really got me into the spirit of the holiday season. Overall, I would highly recommend this Philosophy gingerbread scrub to anyone who loves to exfoliate their skin. This really gets the job done well and the scent makes me happy.

I have to say, the Philosophy Gingerbread Man Hot Salt Scrub has got to be one of my absolute favorites, it's the best product I've had the joy of using! It works so well, it will leave you smelling good and have such soft skin for a good long while. It has a wonderful scent of lemon and ginger, it's a wonderful crisp fresh smell. This product isn't oily at all and it works great even when you use it in the shower! Another great aspect of this scrub is that it doesn't sting or hurt your skin whenever you use it because the salt is very fine and also you don't have to use a lot of it like you have to with some scrubs, just use a little bit and it works wonderfully. Now, the scent wouldn't be what I describe as a "gingerbread" scent but it does have a ginger smell to it. It is a bit pricey, but it's worth it. Effectiveness It works so well, it leaves even the roughest winter skin feeling so soft and smooth and smelling great, you will stay soft for a good long while and a little bit of it goes a long way for sure. Scent This product has a really great scent of lemon and ginger, not like a gingerbread man, but still delicious and refreshing though.

This product is awesome! The scrub is the perfect texture to where you can actually feel it exfoliating. As soon as the water hits the scrub it begins to heat up. It really heats up too and feels great. This is one of my favorite products to buy around the holidays. It's a great gift that you can usually find at a great price. It last for a very long time. I have sensitive skin and was still able to use this. I don't know if I would recommend this to be used on a daily basis though. The scrub really scrubs ya. The smell is heavenly and smells just like ginger bread. If you have dry skin this will get all of the dead skin and cells removed however you will need to use a good moisturizer after this treatment. Not that you don't have to after any scrub or exfoliate treatment. This is a great product for man or woman, the smell is versatile. The price is totally reasonable too. You really can't go wrong.

I really love to change up my scents in body washes or scrub. This Philosophy Gingerbread Man Hot Salt Scrub is great for the winter time especially Christmas. It's perfect because it's sweet smelling I could smell the cinnamon in it. My skin is normally dry so I always use this body scrub when I take a bath, it's so relaxing to me. I always feel so tiered when I'm done using it because it made me feel woozy and beyond relaxed. The salt scrub is so gentle to my body is gently removes any dirt or oils from my body leaving it to feel a lot smoother. The texture of this scrub is so thick and rich smelling it's just awesome. I can't even tell you how soft my skin is after it feels silky, it's so surprising to me. My body always smells great after using this. I love how moisturized my body feels after. I would recommend this to anybody that wants there body to feel very soft and left smelling divine.

I received Philosophy The Gingerbread Man Hot Salt Scrub for a Christmas gift from my best friend as part of a Philosophy gift basket. The name and packaging is so cute and it also smells wonderful. This scent is a perfect gift idea for the holidays and whatever other special occasions you may be celebrating like birthdays during the fall or winter months. I used this product immediately and fell in love. I naturally have dry skin, which gets worse during the winter and this is a great non-irritating scrub for your whole body. It also works especially well on any dry rough patches you may have like your elbows, knees, or soles of your feet. While the scent may not be something you would find in a traditional spa experience, Philosophy The Gingerbread Man Hot Salt Scrub provides at-home aroma therapy so you feel like you are giving yourself a real treat at a fraction of the cost. This is my favorite Philosophy product that I received in the gift basket and I am very pleased with how well it works and especially how it makes me feel! The only downside is that it does make me crave sweets a bit.

The Gingerbread Man Hot Salt Scrub by Philosophy is a fantastic product. It has a yummy, spicy scent that will make your shower and bathroom smell so good while you are using it. Its especially great during the winter. I concentrate it on any dry patches of skin such as my knees, elbows, and ankles. The salt scrub is not harsh at all, but leaves your skin very soft and exfoliated. I feel so clean after using it. On the negative side it can be a little difficult to spread as it is very thick and clumpy. It also is somewhat slippery and hard to apply. Because of this I worry that I am wasting product down the drain, but since you only need to use it once or twice a week it really does last a long time. Overall it has been a favorite of mine for years. I feel clean, refreshed and happy after using the Gingerbread Man. I highly recommend following it up with another body lotion or butter from Philosophy.

I got Philosophy The Gingerbread man as a stocking stuffer from my mother in law for Christmas last year. This really is a great stocking stuffer and the scent is just right for the holiday season. I really love Philosophy products and this was no exception. I really like the smell of this scrub .You would think that this would smell like really sweet kids stuff but it dont really smell that way.This scrub just smells like ginger so if you like ginger then you will love this. If you dont like to smell ginger then you had better skip this.This hot salt scrub does a very good job a getting rid of old dry surface skin yet it is gentle.This scrub will leave your skin feeling so smooth and pain free. I have used some exfoliating scrubs in the past that left my skin pink and sore but I had no problem with this.I would love to get some more of this again for Christmas ( hint, hint) . This makes a great gift for just about anyone or any age.

Who doesn't love a man like this?  He smells delish and he's actually good for something.  I originally bought this product because a few years ago, it was listed as one of Oprah's favorite things and I thought the name of it sounded cool.  I was very happy with it when I got it.  I love the texture of it and it feels so good on your skin.  The jar lasted for quite a while.  Of course I didn't use it ALL the time, but often enough.  Honestly, I don't think it smelled like gingerbread.  Maybe a little gingery, but definitely not like gingerbread.  Must be a marketing thing as to why they called it a gingerbread man.  Seriously though, I guess it's true that not all men are described accurately. Ha! The only real negative I can say about this is that when the scrub rinsed off, it made the whole bottom of my shower totally slimy. It softens the skin, but it will also soften the bottom of your shower too.  Just be prepared to clean the bottom of your shower when you're done every time.  Other than that, it's fantastic!
