It's "frozen" up from time to time. We've had to unplug it and plug it back in. That's only happened 2-3 times in the 2 years we've owned it. Other than the occasional glitch, it's a good product. This is a great TV the picture and sound are fantastic. We love it for movies and video games! Picture Quality Excellent picture with different options for the perfect viewing experience for different channels and devices. I have owned this 42" Philips LCD TV now for almost 2 years and it is awesome.  I did a lot of research and shopping around before making my purchase and this was the television I went with.  The size is just right for a moderate size living room and the 1080p picture quality is superb.  It has better picture quality than many in the same category.  I frequently use it with blu ray and HD video, so I thoroughly enjoy it's high resolution.  This TV is also energy star certified and uses very little power.  I frequently have the television on all day and see no noticeable increase to my electric bill.  It has built in power regulating features that even control the screen brightness based on ambient light.  The speakers are also awesome. The speakers are in the rear of the set and sound bounces off of the wall behind the TV, creating a somewhat surround sound experience.  The built in speakers are also higher wattage than many other similar TVs, equaling better sound.  Overall, This is a great television and I would highly recommend it to anyone considering it.

     I beleive this television is awsome the picture is clear and because I can connect my laptop to it I am thinking about canceling my cable and watch internet television instead. Lots of connections for my stereo, video game console, dvd player, my laptop and even a place to connect and play my mp4 player. Lots of connections easy setup just follow the prompts and in minutes you are up and running.

We've had our TV for over a year. This was a splurge for my husband and I. Our old TV was dying and needed to be replaced. We could have replaced it with a smaller TV but decided that we wanted maximum viewing for movie watching. If our living room was bigger we probably would have gone with a larger TV. We were looking for a TV that would give us great quality but wouldn't cost us a small fortune. We've been very happy with our Philips TV. This isn't the first Philips product for us. We've a great luck with their products. The picture is crystal clear and the sound quality is perfect. We have ours hooked up to our HD TiVo and everything works beautifully. Our only complaint was the difficult of hooking up HDMI cables when the TV is mounted on the wall. It's a very tight fit between the wall and the TV. The issue was probably more the fault of the type of wall mount we used then that of the design of the TV. We fixed this problem buy buying an entertainment center that has the ability to mount the flat panel TV to it.

I have owned this televison for 2 year now and LOVE it.  It has a great high definition picture, wonderful sound quality, and great options.  It also has a nice, sleek design.  This television has rear mounted speakers that have a higher wattage than similar tv's.  The rear speakers give the feel of surround sound by bouncing the sound off of the wall behind the televison.  This tv is also energy star, meaning that it uses less electricity than other similat models.  I have this tv on for most of the day since I work from my home and I have noticed no remarkable change in my electricity bill.  I have this tv hooked up to a game system and a blu-ray player and it looks GREAT on the unit.  Overall, a great buy, I am SOOOO happy I picked this TV as my HDTV purchase!
