Best Sunscreen For My Oily Skin

5

I've tried dozens of sunscreens designed for oily skin, and this is the best by far! At first, I was worried when I squirted out a dollop onto my palm and saw the thickness of the texture. In addition, it's chalky-white and I was afraid it would leave white smudges on my brown skin like so many other products have done. But once I rubbed it in well, I couldn't believe how well it worked for my oily skin. No smudges, no sheen, no clogged pores, and no residue. Just sun-protected, uber-dry skin. In my opinion, this sunscreen beats out Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch sunblock. Scent There's no real scent to the sunscreen, which is a plus because it lessens the chance for skin irritation. Absorption Because it's not a lightweight lotion, it doesn't absorb instantly. However, it does absorb thoroughly and leaves no smudges or chalky residue behind. In fact, my skin looked flawless; just like it does when I use a primer. My skin was completely matte, with no shine or sheen, and without feeling heavy or coated. Longevity To my delight, the matte effect lasted pretty much all day. I've worn this sunscreen with bare skin and I've worn it under my Bare Minerals powder foundation. It plays well as a makeup base, and doesn't cause my foundation to pill or my eye shadow/liner to smear, streak or crease. Effectiveness As a black woman, I don't worry about sunburn, but my skin is sun-sensitive due to a medication I take daily. I haven't had a breakout or rash on my skin since using this sunscreen, so it's been fully effective for my needs. All in all, Peter Thomas Roth Uber-Dry Sunscreen is the best money I've ever spent on sunscreen.
