The Pelonis space heater was originally purchased by myself to use in my office, under my desk to warm my feet on cold winter days. Since I know longer work outside the home it has come in handy to warm our small 12 X 9 breakfast nook. It doesn't heat the whole space, but works great as a way to get heat on my feet and legs. It does also raise the room temperature by a couple of degrees in about 30 minutes of continual use. It never gets too hot to touch, so you don't have to worry if you accidentally touch it or if you have small children who may be interested in touching it. I have been happy with the Pelonis space heater and would recommend to those looking for a way to add some heat to a small space.
