Great for when the kiddos are sick!

The Pedialyte line of products are great tasting, and can mean the difference between staying comfortable at home or a trip to the hospital for dehydration. When anyone is throwing up in my house and needs to have fluids pushed, I reach for these Pedialyte freezer pops, and also the bottles of juice for straight drinking. It helps to keep fluids in their system and I have never had my children become dehydrated and I know it's due to this. Its a little pricey but they really work and make a big difference. The taste is good and the cold pops are also great for fevers and sore throats. When they don't want to eat or drink sometimes they will go for an ice pop. They have several flavors and to me it's a must have for flu season and it's good to have on hand for any sickness that may happen.

Easily keep them hydrated.

My four year old daughter got so sick and was really bad with food poisoning to the point that anything that she took in was immediately coming right back out. With that happening, getting her to drink or eat anything became such a struggle because she did not want to keep having to deal with throwing it back up. I bought this because her pediatrician told me I had to try to keep something in her and I thought that this would be great as it would give her electrolytes as well. We started off very slow and she only had a little bit every ten minutes or so and by the time she was near the end the Popsicle was completely melted but she still took it down. Within an hour after having it she was feeling a lot better and was able to eat two more of these that night. These helped her tremendously as getting something in her body and keeping it down gave her that energy that she needed and helped her when she was so dehydrated. These are great and easy to give to kids who don't feel good and make it easier to get them feeling better.

Great product for when your little one has a stomach bug

Pedialyte Freezer Pops are an essential staple in our freezer during the winter months. It seems like every year there is virus that makes its way around my oldest son's school. It is inevitable that my oldest child acquires this virus and then passes it along to his siblings. All of my children experience significant dehydration when they come in contact with the stomach bug since it is a number of days before they're able to keep anything down. Pedialyte Freezer Pops are an excellent product to have on hand for these bouts of dehydration. First, they are gentle on their sensitive digestive systems. Second, they help restore their hydration level and the electrolyte balance in their bodies. Finally, my children actually enjoy eating these freezer pops. Overall, I highly recommend keeping this product on hand if you have young children. These freezer pops taste great and are an excellent way to help prevent dehydration.

Ok, but hate the dyes

My son had a pretty decent fever recently, and wasn't feeling good, and didn't really want to eat or drink anything. I had bought some of the new pedialyte, but saw the Freezer Pops too, and figured they were worth a try. My son actually really liked them, and I was happy that he was getting some fluids in, and he said the ice pops were making him feel a little better since they were so cold. They were by no means cheap, but since they are for restoring electrolytes I didn't expect them to be the same price as regular popsicles. It comes with a couple different flavors, which is nice, and they can be stored in the box or in the freezer, which is really great since regular pedialyte has to be used within 48hrs of opening. My biggest complaint is I wish they were somewhat more natural. Or at least cut out the colored dyes. Especially the red #40. I try not to give my kids anything with red #40 in it, so I was disappointed to see it listed as one of the ingredients of the freezer pops.

Awesome product

About a year ago my daughter was very sick and would not eat or hardly drink anything. I knew that it was important to keep her hydrated and eventually got her to eat regular Popsicles. I decided to buy her some Pedialyte to see if she would drink it and ran across these Pedialyte Freezer Pops. I was super excited to see these in the store. I knew right away these would be perfect for my daughter. She really enjoyed these freezer pops and I was comforted knowing she was taking in liquid that was going to do her some good. They always seemed to make her feel better. She still wants to eat these freezer pops now even though she is not sick anymore. They were a little expensive, but the cost was no issue when I was in need of my daughter to have something that would help her get better. At her checkup her doctor actually recommended that I see if I can find some of these freezer pops. If only I had heard of them sooner!

Good option for kids

These are a good option for kids when they are sick. Our peditrician suggests pedialyte when they have a high fever or are sick and not taking anything else. Pedialyte is not the best tasting thing out there but the freezer pops are better tasting because they are frozen. When they are sick you want to give them something that will help with their electrolytes but not neccessarily want to give them a sugary drink. This makes them happy thinking they are gettng some type of freeze pop and helping them at the same time. Congestion Relief I would not say that this helps with conegestion at all. Chest Congestion Relief Not with this either, more to just help get fluids back into them. Relief of Aches & Pains I think the only aches and pains it helps with would be for sore throats to help ease the pain of that with the cold freeze pop. Cough Suppression Since it is a cold pop it does not really help stop their coughing. More just help soothe their sore throat and get something into them when they are not drinking enough.

Pedialyte in kid friendly form

When our daughter got sick last year the pediatrician recommend pedialyte but if you have ever tried it you know it is pretty nasty stuff. My husband on a whim got the freezer pops and we still hold onto a few in our pantry just in case. They are great because our daughter liked the flavor over normal pedialyte or maybe just the fact that it looks like a treat. We have given them to her frozen as well as just putting the juice into a cup or adding it to water. They have a good shelf life and it is also nice that it's a small amount of juice - with the larger juice boxes they say that it's only good for about a day, so any that's not drunk is wasted. The only bad thing is that they do stain because of the coloring.

Love this Idea of Freezer Pops

So I bought Pedialyte Freezer Pops mainly for two children, my daughter and my son. I remember one day my son had a fever and he refused to take anything. He was getting dehydrated because his fever was not alleviating. I remembered that I had the pedialyte in my freezer. After trying everything else and failing and being desperate enough to try anything that will help we brought out the freezer pop. At first it was not as enticing to him but after him hearing ice cream and feeling how cold it was, he just wanted to put it in his mouth. He started to eat and before you know he drunk the whole thing. As a mother or any parent of sort when you see your kid sick you simply want them to get better instantly. This product was tasty and in my opinion very effective and smartly put together. I appreciate what it did for him. At least he was getting fluids and it was easier to sneak in other medicine to him. Within time, he was getting better all thanks to this Pedialyte Freezer pops that I was a bit skeptical about. So if you are trying to see if this product would work for child I would recommend it, my son was 2 years old when I gave it to him.
