Paula's Choice Skin Balancing Moisture gel is a very unique product. Paula's gel goes on as a light "sheen", slick moisture. However, allow it a few seconds to fry, and your skin takes on an even tone, almost as if you are wearing a skin toning make up foundation. This works great on combination, or oily skin. I occasionally have oily skin, and a few acne break outs, even as an adult, and have found Paul's balancing gel to be the best for my combination skin. After I began to use regularly, I could feel, and see the difference. The shine is gone, and stays gone all day with one application of the gel. It smooths wrinkles, after application, I can see a smoother area around my mouth, the wrinkles at the corners are not as noticeable after I have used Paula's. This is a great daily lotion for combination skin, balancing out the shine, giving your face a fresh, glowing, almost made up look. The only negative comment I have is I cannot find in a store and must order online, so I have to plan ahead, other wise a great overall product.

I was introduced to this product by a friend. I had never heard of Paula's choice products before and have always been skeptical of products that you can only get online. But after giving it some thought, I decided if she vouched for it, this moisturizer must be good. So I went online and purchased it. I was concerned about the price as it cost more than what I typically use and I had to pay for shipping but I committed and purchased the product. After a week of trying it, I can say that it has won me over. I have combination skin and where my skin gets oily, it gets very oily. I constantly have to wipe and blot the oil off my face. I am very self conscious of this and hate seeing the shine on my face in photographs. While using this product I found that my skin looks better and less shiny. This moisturizing gel is a great product that locks in moisture and locks out shine. My skin looks and feels soft and healthy. Effectiveness This product is full of antioxidants and is very beneficial to my skin. I love how soft and healthy my skin looks and feels.

Paula's Choice Skin Balancing Moisture Gel is the most soothing, clean-feeling moisturizer I have ever used.  It is light, quick drying, and non-greasy, but is tremendously effective on even very dry skin.  I use this product at night, or when I am wearing a separate sunscreen, as it has no sunblock in it.  The price is similar to drugstore brands, but the quality is better than anything you can buy in a swanky department store or dermatologist's office. My skin is naturally very dry, especially during the winter.  I hate the heavy feeling of a greasy moisturizer.  Skin Balancing Moisture Gel was absolute relief for me from dry, scaly skin.  It's so light that my skin still feels clean after using it.  It is unscented and contains no harmful ingredients.  The product package is simple and suitable for a man or a woman.  (How often do you find a moisturizer a man wouldn't be embarassed to use!?)

I have used Paula's Choice Skin Balancing moisture gel for normal to oily/combination skin for roughly six months now. I have had no issue with it. It moisturizes with no greasy residue, I do not have an oily shine after using it. It has no fragrance and it absorbs well. It doesn't interfere with makeup wear. Having used lotion as moisturizer for many years, the look of the gel did make me question its moisturizing ability, but those questions were gone the moment I used it. It works wonderfully. I would definitely recommened this product to someone with sensitive skin who is looking for a fragrance and color free product. It is definity non-irritating to the skin and does what it is supposed to.

Paula's Choice Skin Balancing Moisture Gel works great for my skin. I have Oily, acne - prone skin that is very sensitive. I have a hard time finding a good moisturizer that does not break me out in little, or big, pimples. If the moisturizer is for acne - prone skin it dries my face out. If the moisturizer is for combination skin I break out in pimples. This product does not dry my skin out nor does it cause me to break out. It is very light weight and not greasy. It comes in a small tube but do not worry, a little bit, about the size of a dime, goes a long way. I use the moisturizer gel at night time. It does not contain an SPF so I use a different Paula's Choice product in the morning, a lotion instead of a gel. I have been struggling for the last two to three years to find a product that works for my skin. By chance I came across her website and decided to try it. I am thirty years old and had the skin of a teenager. I was always so embarrassed to been seen in public. Her products are not only helping my skin be less oily and have fewer pimples, it is helping my skin heal too. My husband commented on how good my skin was starting to look. This gel works for me. My skin is so soft after I use it.

I am not a 'brands' person, so I have tried a variety of daily moisturizers based on what samples I was given, what was on sale, or the whim purchase of the moment.  I came across Paula's website where she reviews cosmetics and enjoyed her ratings and feedback. Her own products for sale I found, generally, more costly than what I want to pay.  I did, however, decide to try this one and haven't been sorry.  It is an excellent, non greasy light moisturizer that softens my skin without leaving it oily or slick in any way.  I have normal to oily skin and found this perfect for that skin type. It is sheer enough to go under liqiud face make up and absorbs well enough that face powder also could be used after applying the gel.  I use neither, but--really--I can tell it would work! I am a fan of supplements so I especially like the antioxidant ingredients in this moisturizer, including green tea, grape seed and wheat germ oil derivatives.  It is color and fragrance free, with no animal testing but it does have parabens as part of the ingredients list.

Paula's Choice did not disappoint.  I couldn't believe how soft and lightweight the gel feels.  It absorbs very quickly and leaves just a lovely, satiny feel to my skin.  I feel like I'm getting the absolute perfect amount of moisturization without greasiness.  The Skin Balancing Moisture Gel has absolutely no added fragrances, color dyes, or known irritants, so it's wonderful for sensitive skin.  Paula has added generous levels of antioxidants along with water-binding agents to really make my face feel hydrated, smooth, and natural.  I could see a difference within a few days of using Skin Balancing Moisture Gel (along with the [Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Stress Control Treatment][1] ).  Seriously, my skin has never looked better, fresher, or clearer in my adult life.  That is high praise for two moderately priced facial products.
