I have used a lot of hairsprays and I have to say that Pantene Pro-V Ice Shine Hairspray is one of the best hairsprays I have ever used because it holds my hairstyle all day long. This hairspray is easy to use! Simply style your hair how you desire then shake the hairspray and spray from about a six inch distance all over your hairstyle. This hairspray will be sure to hold your hairstyle for the long haul. The only downside I personally find wrong with this hairspray is how crunchy it makes your hair after you spray it. I personally like and take pride in my soft hair so I do not always enjoy using this hairspray for that reason only. Pantene Pro-V Ice Shine hairspray has a nice scent especially in comparison with other hairsprays. This hairspray is ideal for any hair type and it has not damaged my hair at all. I would recommend Pantene Pro-V Ice Shine Hairspray to any woman with any hair type.

I was hoping with a name like Ice Shine, that this product would not only hold solidly(ice) but that it would add a little shine, or at least not dull my hair(shine).  I was disappointed by the shine end.  However, this is a very solid holding hairspray and I am impressed that my hair doesn't look helmet-y.  I very often wear my hair in up-do styles and like to have a hairspray that holds without appearing to be present.  I was hoping that this would at least add a little shine to my hair without being overly obvious, but it didn't do this.  One thing that is an added benefit that I wasn't expecting was how well this hairspray combed/brushed out.  I have very long hair and do not have the time to wash my hair daily and love that I can use this hairspray and no need to wash my hair after using it.  It brushes out quite nicely and I can go another day before I need to wash my hair.  This is a good hairspray, the name is just misleading.

Eventhough it is not this hairspray that I use I use the Pantene Hairspray exclusively. I use the Pantene Classic Flexible Hairspray for years. It holds my style and stray hairs while also not looking glued to my head. It also smells very nice. I use this hairspray for curly, sprunched, and straight hair. I also like to use it when I wear my hair straight and back-comb it and spray under my hair to keep the volume of my hair(since my hair is fairly thin and fine. This also lasts a long time. I also use it for my son's hair (4 year old and 1 year old) to do "faux hawk" it stays all day and doesn't look wet. I get lots of compliments on their hair too. I have not use this ice shine product but could not find the simple pantene hair spray to comment on. The pantene products can sometimes create a buildup on hair because they are trying to be too shiny. The regular hairspray has not caused a product buildup at all.

Pantene Pro-V Ice Shine hairspray added nice shine to my hair. One "pro" is that it did give a nice shine to my hair ... my co-workers commented on the shine. Guess in that respect it does live up to its name. BUT .... I could hardly get a brush through my hair at the end of the day! And this is a full twelve hours AFTER spraying my hair before work. I used this procut to help tame flyaways and add shine to my hair. Never did I imagine that it would create a mess of hair I couldn't run a brush through or my fingers. Definitely not recommended if your husband or boyfriend likes to play with or run his fingers through your hair. All that will happen is his fingers will get stuck and you'll scream from him ripping the hairs out of your scalp. Much better hairsprays out there that have just enough hold without creating the awful "helmet head" and torturing yourself when you'd like to run a brush through your hair.

The hold on on pantene ice shine hairspray is decent.  It does add a hint of shine as stated.  It sprays on evenly and it smells wonderful!  It does not smell like strong alcohol like other hair sprays tend to do.  For the price, I would say it's worth the money.  I style my  hair every other day and I have noticed that this product tends to have less build up than other products I have used. The hold is strong enough to last all day and does not flake and turn white as much as some other hairsprays.  It comes in a large bottle and it does last for quite a while.  I would not say it gives you this insane shine, but it does provide some sort of shine.  I do also like the fact that the nozzle sprays evenly and helps to coat my hair from roots to tips.   To be honest what got me to initially try this is the packaging.  But this product does go beyond that and provide a strong long lasting hold.

I used Pantene Style Pro-V Ice Shine Maximun Hold. I have very fine hair and found this spray to really hold my hair style unlike others that claim to. Great Smell and I saw a shine to my hair as well, most other hair sprays leave my hair dull.

I really wanted to try the New Pantene Pro-V Ice shine hairspray because I color my hair and after the 2and week it starts getting a bit dull .I found the product to be good on hold but not to great on shine . It does add a bit of shine so its not all bad and it smells great .I did notice that if your hair becomes even a bit damp from rain or after a work out the hairspray gets very sticky . its hard to brush out if it gets this way. It is minimum hold so I guess most hair-sprays do this anyway . it sprays on nice and the hold is very strong . I bought this at big lots for 2.80 so thats not to bad and its is good on hold and smell so I don't feel ripped off or anything I was just hoping the shine would be better .
