I bought this Panasonic Vacuum Cleaner Model MC-V5720 back before the year 2000 and really it seems like it has lasted me pretty well. I don't vacuum daily or anything so I can't say that it has been put through hard use but it is still sucking up dirt just fine. The rubber bumper on the front is starting to split but other then that I have no complaints. I do like it that there are on board tools although I don't like it that there aren't very many choices. What is really missing is a kind of flat floor cleaner that my previous vacuum had. This one only has a crevice tool and a light duty dusting brush. So if you want to do something like stairs there really isn't a proper tool for it. They also made the connections the reverse of normal vacuums so I couldn't easily use my previous tools. I did finally find a piece of white plumbing pipe that I use as a connector to make my floor brush work and it does okay, although it isn't quite as solid as I had been used to with my previous vacuum. (Which was one of those mini drag around types, I miss it as it had great suction but on-board tools are kind of nice). All in all, I am pretty happy with the Panasonic Vacuum Cleaner Model MC-V5720.
