I have recently started cooking more, since I am trying to eat more healthy. With my healthy cooking, I bought many different items to help me with cooking. Most of these items were bought from Pampered Chef, and one of my favorite things I bought is the Pampered Chef Tomato Knife. The Tomato Knife works really well to cut anything from tomatoes to onions and peppers. I don't have a problem with the blade getting dull, and it makes nice cuts for everything I have used it for. It doesn't flatten the vegetables like so many other knives do. Also, it's really easy to clean off. I haven't had any problems with food getting stuck to the knife after using it. I wash it by hand, but I'm sure there are people who put it in the dishwasher and don't have any problems with it. I'm really glad I bought this Tomato Knife, since it does make my cooking go so much more easily. I'm sure I will be purchasing more of this kind of knife in the future.

This knife is one of my favorite tools in the kitchen! It is extremely affordable and versatile. While it does chop up tomatoes quite nicely, it works great on tons of other veggies as well. In fact, I don't think I have even used my other knives since I got this one. I do not use it on meat, so not sure how it works on that, but it works great on tomatoes (of course), potatoes, carrots, asparagus, avocado...you name it! I even use it to cut bread. I do not believe this knife can be re sharpened (I may be wrong), but I have had mine for over 4 years and it is still razor sharp. I also hand wash mine everytime...no dishwasher for this guy, but that is no big deal. Nothing sticks to it and it is a cute, fun color! This one is a keeper Pamered Chef! Performance Works on everything. It is so versatile that I don't use any of my other knives hardly at all anymore. Durability I have had mine for years and it works fabulously. Design This is a cute, fun colored knife.

The tomato knife is by car my favorite kitchen accessory! I've even brought over to dinner parties for the hostess to use! It cuts smoothly and evenly and has decreased my prep time in the kitchen dramatically and it comes in a great color so you can find it quickly in a full drawer of kitchen gadgets or in a sink full of it dishes. It also comes with it's own protective blade cover that is very small and light-weight, making the knife very compact and easy to store. This knife should definitely be a staple in everyone's kitchen!

I recently purchased this knife from a Pampered Chef party. It is odd looking in that it is a solid light green color. However, the sharpness of the serrated knife is perfect for tomatoes and other tender fruits or vegetables. It also comes with a green hard plastic sleeve to keep your hands protected when the knife is in the drawer. I think this is my favorite knife!

I love cooking with fresh produce.  I got this knife just a few months ago from a friend and I have to say it is one of my favorite things in my kitchen.  When I am juggling several different reciepies at a time I can easily find this knife.  It is such an easy on the eye green color!  Although it says the knife is primarily for tomatoes I can tell you from personal experience you can use this knife on just about any type of produce.  It is especially great for fruites.  Recently I have been making pie's and tarts for dinner parties and deserts. I have been thrilled to be able to easily cut up things like Pears and Peaches for these delicate pies. The knife is very reasonable in price.  You really can't do any better in price for such a dependable and easy to use knife. One of my other favorite things about the knife is that it is easy to clean.  There arn't heavy grooves between the knife and the handle which makes any kind of messy food preperation easy to clean up afterwards.

I purchased my Pampered Chef tomato knife a little over a year ago. I have used and washed it at least 5 times a week since. I know it is supposed to be used for tomatoes, but I love how it works for other fruits and vegetables. It works well for kiwis, bananas, lemons, limes, peaches, pears, avacado, and just about every other thing you can think of. I don't think it works as well with really hard vegs like carrots, but it does still work. I love the coating on the knife that resists rusting or tarnishing. I don't think you are supposed to put it in the dishwasher, but I do. I have never had a problem with the coating coming off. It still looks perfect. I love that it is shart, but not too sharp, I even let my kids use it when helping in the kitchen (my kids are 7 and 8). I like the sleek plastic cover that comes with it, it fits perfectly over the knife blade for easy and safe storage. I also love the handle, it doesn't get all slippery when wet, and is shaped nicely for your hand. Bottom line, it may seem pricey at first glance, but this is well worth the money. You will use it alot, and it will last a long time.

Pampered Chef is known for their high quality kitchen tools and the Pampered Chef Tomato Knife meets the expectations of this long time Pampered Chef lover. The Pampered Chef Tomato Knife is a high quality serrated knife that is much more versatile than it's name gives it credit for. I've found that in addition to working well on tomatoes, it works beautifully on fresh cucumbers, small loaves of fresh bread and any other slicing job for which a serrated knife is suitable. The molded handle provides a comfortable grip. When tomatoes are fresh in the summer, my little knife gets used daily, and in the winter, it is the first knife I grab to slice fresh homemade bread. Like many of the Pampered Chef products, one may consider the price tag excessive, however, the quality of this knife has made it worth every penny in my kitchen. It is also slightly inconvenient to have to track down a consultant.

Don't let the name of the knife fool you, as it is good for much more than just tomatoes. It has a serrated blade , the only downfall I can think of is the color. It is a green color, plastic coated knife. The plastic is actually kind of nice, the food doesn't stick to it. It washes off really easily too. The knife is really sharp, and comes with a nice plastic cover. The plastic cover is nice to keep fingers protected when you are reaching into the drawer looking for something else. When I first got this knife, it looked cheap and I didn't think it would be sharp. I barely rubbed my fingertips across the bottom and really cut my fingers up. Dumb, I know, but just warning you that it is sharper than it looks! I use it to cut up carrots, cucumbers, really anything. It is more of a general purpose knife. I do wish it came in any color other than the green, but I guess in the drawer no one sees the color!

I love the Pampered Chef tomato knife. I am not one of those people that likes having a gadget for everything. In fact, I usually am not interested when friends or family are having pampered chef parties. But my mom but this knife and every time I cooked at her house, I found myself reaching for it again and again. Soon after that, I realized that I needed my own Pampered Chef tomato knife! This knife is light green in color, which causes it to stand out from your other knives. I like this feature, as I don't have to fish through the knife block to find the one I want. And since this knife is used more than any other in my kitchen, that is a definite plus. Most people think of serrated knives as being for bread, but I have always used my bread knife for tomatos. No longer! I now have a knife for this purpose. However, I now realize that this knife can be used for a great many other fruits and vegetables. Just like tomatoes, many fruits have a tough skin over soft flesh. This knife cuts right through both, with ease and control. I will always have this knife on hand!

I have the Pampered Chef tomato knife and I really like it. It cuts through tomatoes and other soft fruits and vegetables easily and cleanly. The two main knives that I ever use when preparing a meal are the Pampered Chef tomato knife and the other green Pampered Chef knife, it's called something like the Suduku knife or something. Anyway they are both great. I don't know how much different the pampered chef tomato knife is from any other serrated knife really though. It honestly seems about the same. But I like that it is bright green because I can find it in my knife drawer quickly. I also like that it comes with a protective plastic cover, it seems to keep it looking nicer longer. Although I lost mine, which is sad because I really liked that cover. Oh another good thing about this knife is that stuff doesn't seem to stick to it much which makes it super easy to clean. I just rinse it off with my little scrubby kitchen brush and some soap and it comes clean easy and quickly.
