The pampered chef large cutting board is a great investment and tool for all kitchens. The Pampered Chef Large Grooved Cutting Board measures 18"x12" and is made of white nylon that is dishwasher safe. Around the upper and lower edges, there is a grey rubber material that prevents the cutting board from sliding on your kitchen counters. This cutting board is so versatile and practical that I have gotten rid of several of my smaller cutting boards, due to how much I am using my pampered chef large cutting board. I would highly recommend this cutting board. Ease of Cleaning The pampered chef large grooved cutting board is very easy to clean. It can be easily sanitized by rinsing the extra product off under hot water and using dish soap. It is dishwasher safe, but due to its size, it may not fit comfortably in all dishwashers. Also, it might take up a lot of space, so it is often easier for me to just wash it by hand,

As much as I love my bamboo cutting board, this plastic one is much more practical: it doesn't get grease stains on it, it is dishwasher safe (a huge perk), and it's much easier to sanitize. As stated in its name, the Pampered Chef Large Grooved Cutting Board is a really big board! It also has a wide, shallow groove running around the entire perimeter. This trough comes in especially handy when cutting juicy fruits or vegetables like tomatoes--it holds the liquid and keeps your counter clean. The board also has rubber edges along the long sides that helps the board stay in the same spot on the counter while you're slicing like crazy. This cutting board is nice and solid and seems to be really durable. I think Pampered Chef products are generally high quality, but I don't know that this board is actually worth twice as much as similar boards from other brands--you would probably do just as well with something cheaper.

The Pampered Chef Large Grooved Cutting Board is my main go-to board.  Though it is technically two-sided, I always use the side that has a large groove to catch excess juices from meat and fruit.   It is generously sized at 18" x 12" and has rubber-gripped edges that prevent it from sliding across the countertop.  There are also measurement marks molded into the board in case you want to cut anything into equal sizes. I appreciate that this cutting board is plastic, because wood absorbs bacteria easily and is hard to decontaminate and clean thoroughly.  Also, this plastic cutting board can be run through the dishwasher for excellent cleaning and sterilization. The only drawback to this board is that it is completely rigid and inflexible, so you can't curl up edges or bend corners or anything to help funnel food into bowls or pans.  Also, it is fairly large and heavy for someone with weak wrists, so don't plan on picking it up or holding it for long.

This is a nice large cutting board. What sold me on it was that it is made of a material (polypropolyene?) that is made to not dull your knives. I also loved the groove that runs along the whole outter edge. It is sooo perfect for cutting watermellon....I no longer have to worry about juices running off the cutting board and down my countertops. I think it holds almost a cup of juices! It was also be good for carving juicy meat. It does have a flat side as well so if you don't happen to need the groove you can just flip it over and use the other side. It's easy to clean and stain resistant. It's dishwasher safe but it is too big for my dishwasher. If your top rack adjusts it would probably fit just fine. It also has rubber along the edges that helps keep it from slipping. This comes in really handy on countertops where cutting boards typically slip around. I've had mine several years and it has held up really well. I love it.

This is my go to cutting board. I love this Pampered Chef Cutting Board mostly because of the wonderful size. It is made of very strong material that is very forgiving. Many cutting boards will get real deep grooves in it from using it so much. This cutting board I have had for 6 years and it is not nearly as torn or cut up as the cutting boards that I have had for less then a year. The material that it is made of is supposed to not harbor bacteria. The size of this board is great for cutting big things such as watermelons or carving turkeys at Thanksgiving. Abd since it has the nice grooves around the edge it catches all the extra juice from the Watermelon or Turkey also. That way you don't have a mess to clean up on the counter top. I also am thankful that this a dishwasher safe product. It always helps to not have to wash everything by hand. When you see this in the Pampered Chef catalog, you may think that it is too pricey, but for what you get out of it, it is worth it.

The **Pampered Chef Large Grooved Cutting Board **has been a wonderful gift. I received it over 8 years ago as a bridal shower gift and couldn't be happier with it. I love the large size so that I can set it over my sink if I don't have a lot of counter space left. I think my favorite two features would be the groove around the outer edge to catch any liquids from going all over the place and the grippers on the bottom of the cutting board which keeps it from sliding while you are working. The large size also means I can either cut a lot of one item or even multiple foods needed for a recipe. I have been a fan of Pampered Chef products for years, so it is not hard for me to be excited about ordering from them.  When I saw this cutting board, I was not sure I wanted to spend the money to get it, but since I had a few half-price items available to me after my last party, I figured I would give this cutting board a try.  I am so glad I did; this board is, hands-down, my favorite cutting board ever!  The no-slip ring along the side of the board works wonderfully and I have never had the board move around the counter-top.  Another great feature is the grooved side; it catches all the "juices" from whatever I'm cutting and saves me a lot of clean-up.  Also, the measure marks on the side are a great help for when things need to be cut into uniform sizes.  I especially love that it is dishwasher safe.  Personally, I haven't had a problem with it fitting into my dishwasher. I have had mine for a few years now and I still love it!

I love my Pampered Chef Large Grooved Cutting Board!  The board is made out of nylon, making it easy to clean and sanitary.  It is easy to clean and dishwasher safe, however, it is very tall, so it can be difficult to get in the dishwasher.   You can use this board to cut the messiest of foods, and it will catch all of the juice or drippings and keep them off of your counter.  I've used it to cut a pineapple, and it caught all of the extra juice and I just had to pour it down the sink. This cutting board is a little pricey compared to other cutting boards, however I feel that it is worth the extra cost because of the groove that catches the juices and because it is much larger than most other cutting boards. The board is easily stored on it's side in a cabinet, however, once again, it is bigger than other cutting boards, so it may not stand up straight in a cabinet. Give it a try, and I think you'll like it!
