Great kitchen scissors

4

The pampered chef kitchen shears are a great pair of kitchen scissors. These multi-purpose shears are sharp and practical, and they are able to be used for many purposes. I enjoy using them for cutting through meat, cutting pizza into slices, and helping trim meat. These kitchen aid shears are easy to store. Ease of Cleaning the kitchen aid shears are very easy to clean; i usually rinse off any excess ingredient that remains on the shears. Then I place them into the dishwasher silverware tray to fully sanitize. Durability the kitchen aid shears are very durable and well constructed; i have had no issues with them not cutting through an object or breaking on something that i was trying to cut. Design Based on the success I have had with the kitchen aid shears, I feel they are designed very well. I would highly recommend them based on their effectiveness of cutting, easiness to clean, and durability.

Pampered Chef Kitchen Shears are super cutters and pinchers! eek

4

These kitchen shears from Pampered Chef are near perfect. I purchased mine at one of the many Pampered Chef Home Parties my girlfriend (who sells) has held - in fact I think I have purchased more than one pair over the last 10 years. What I and the hubby like about these shears is they really cut through meat AMAZINGLY - which is really why I wanted them. These seem to stay super sharp for a year or so, but when they start to dull a bit they become pretty useless on food. Some other things I love about these Pampered Chef Kitchen Shears is the spring mechanism on them, when you cut the spring helps open up the shears so you're only really squeezing the shears and saves on your hand strength and finger joints - which I appreciate! I also love that because it has this spring, Pampered Chef designed them with a little plastic locking latch at the bottom of the handles so you can keep the sharp blades closed and they fit nicely into a butcher block or drawer, but you never have to worry about the kids reaching into the drawer and accidentally slicing a finger. Other than a nasty pinch I received from these, I have been more than happy with my Pampered Chef Kitchen Shears! Ease of Cleaning These shears cleaned quickly and easily. Most times I just threw them into the dishwasher and they came out clean - never rusted. Durability These never broke or rusted; but they did become dull within a year and a half. Although, I could have sharpened them but just got frustrated and tossed them. Design The only downfall I have experienced with these Pampered Chef Kitchen Shears is that accidentally (3-4 times) I some how got the palm of my hand pinched in the handle part when I was cutting something very thick and difficult...left a blood blister - owwee!!! I love that there is a spring mechanism on theses; when you cut, the spring helps open up the shears so you're only really squeezing the shears. Allevates hand fatigue that you get when you have a lot to cut or thicker things to cut.

Self sharpening shears that cut paper, nails, or raw meat,

Pampered Chef Kitchen Shears-They are a kitchen and utility wonder! They self sharpen. They are dishwasher safe. They never rust and the handle does not discolor. You can literally cut steel nails with them but be careful not to bend the blade. It can be done relatively easy...I've done it to demonstrate to my friends. Even if the blade slightly bends they still sharpen and work just fine. They also cut coupons, cloth, bones, raw meat, vegtables, grocery packages, and Christmas paper!I have three pair, one for cooking, one for the kitchen utility drawer, and a third pair in my garage for outdoor use. The pair in the garage is the oldest. I once lived in an apartment. I used them on a project while on my ground floor patio and forgot and left them outside. When I remembered I'd left them outside I went to get them and they were gone. A few days later my son came in from playing and said the apartment maintance man had my shears. I went and "retrieved" them from him. He apologized, bragged on all the things he had done with them, found out from me where he could get a couple of pairs and bought his own from a Pampered Chef rep. They are truely awesome and I recommend them to anyone, except children, for any purpose but beware.....they do slice fingers!

A MUST HAVE

The Pampered Chef Kitchen Shears is so wonderful to own in your kitchen. I love how versitile it is. One of the best parts of it is the case that attatches to the bottom of one of your cabinets. That way whatever you are doing in your kitchen you are still able to get your shears out. There has been so many times where I was preparing meat and my hands were all full of bacteria filled juice and I needed to get my shears out. With it being so hany right in reach under the cabinets you don't have to worry about cleaning your hands to open a drawer and fish through all your utensils to get the shears out. Just grab and go. I have been so impressed with how sharp these sicorss are and how they never seem to get dull. When I bought them the lady had said that they do shapren themselves as you use them. I think that that must be true because that is the only way these could still be in perfect condition. I bought these6 years ago and still work like new.

The Pampered Chef Shears were nice while they lasted...

I am a pampered chef junkie - I love almost all of their products. However, I've been fairly disappointed with their kitchen shears. I had the one with the white handle - I'm not sure if they've changed a lot over the years. The good parts: I loved the spring action. Those with hand problems or arthritis can cut items a lot easier. Also, they cut nicely for quite a while. I used mine for everything - food related to crafts. However, eventually the spring action wore off. Once that happened, it was impossible to cut. I had to force it open and closed, and it seemed a bit harder to do that then with normal scissors. Also, they got dull faster then I expected. When I received my Henckels International Classic knife set, with their scissors, I realized that my old Pampered Chef Shears were far below in quality. I've scrapped my shears, and now cut everything like butter. I'd recommend this for those with arthritis, or for the elderly. For everyone else, keep looking.

I think I laughed the first time I saw that Pampered Chef made shears. Not being an avid cook I was unaware that shears could be used outside of the garden but indeed they can and they do a fantastic job. Any time I want to quickly cut things into chuncks I grab the trusty Pampered Chef shears and go to work. They cut through meat, vegetables and much more. So great for so many things. Like a lot of Pampered Chef products, they are some what pricey but they are well worth the cost in my opinion. I hate paying for pricey cookware but as soon as I use it for the first time I am so glad that I made the investment. I know that if you try this or any other Pampered Chef product you will feel the same way. Enjoy!

Not a fan!

Let me first start off by saying that I love Pampered Chef. I have a lot of their products and am happy with about 95% of them. This is one of the products that I am not happy with. It is really sad because about 10 years ago I purchased a pair of kitchen spears from Pampered Chef that had a white handle. I loved them! They worked great and lasted about 7 years. So when it was time for me to purchase a new pair my white ones were no longer available so I bought the new black ones. I expected them to be the same and thought that I would love them just like the others. WRONG these shears worked fine for about a month, then after that I could have thrown them away! They would not cut anything! I am not sure if it is the new disign or if I got a bad pair. All I know is that I am not happy with the new Pampered Chef Kitchen Shears that are black and would love for them to bring the white ones back!

heavy duty kitchen shears

4

I received these Pampered Chef kitchen shears as a gift, however, I have seen them used often at Pampered Chef parties.  They are so useful for everything!  They are incredibly sharp.  One consultant even cut through a chicken bone with them.  Mine are now about eight years old and was being careless the other day while cooking; even though I use them all the time, they are still sharp enough to have cut my finger.  They can also be used for snipping herbs, cutting meat, lettuce (making a salad while in a bowl), just about anything!  They are easy to clean and pretty comfortable to use.  They come with their own case that can be mounted via double-sided tape inside a cabinet, or just set down in a drawer.  The case does keep them shut and safe in drawers.  They are heavy duty and not likely to break like flimsier shears.  I highly recommend these shears and probably could do with a few more for gardening, sewing, etc...

Great for light cutting jobs in the kitchen and around the home

The pampered chef kitchen scissors are light weight, easy to use and easy to clean. I enjoy using them for light jobs in the kitchen such as opening bags and snipping ends of vegetables. These scissors lasted me about 5 years of everyday use and dishwashing. I would recommend them to everyone.

Can't live with out these!

5

The Pampered Chef kitchen shears are a must have for any woman who spends time in the kitchen. I use these to cut open bags of vegetables, to chop meat with or without bones, to cut cardboard, straws for sippie cups, almost all my toddlers finger foods, and so much more. Anyway, I take these with me when we go out because they are just so sharp they make short work of any cutting task I have. These shears aren't even the newer model that Pampered Chef carries and at 19.00 they are a steal. The shears sharpen themselves everytime you use them and have a case to store them as they remain open out of the case. The case mounts on the wall with a stick up or a screw, your choice if you should so desire. I personally stash them in the silver drawer. Try them and you too will wonder why you never had these sooner.
