When I was little my mom always had something sweet baking in the oven. I loved when she made chocolate cookies with peppermint bark on top. When I use this product it reminds me of that. I love the taste. It is not over powering but you can still tell that it is there. I enjoy that the product is easy to put on, easy to find. the smoothness is great too. It is great for dry, chapped or wind burned lips. I have to say that the formula is a little greasy feeling. If you keep it in a purse do not leave your purse in the sun because it will melt. Other than that I have nothing bad to say about this product. I was really pleased with the results. I use the palmers cocoa butter lotion in the winter time for try skin so this product just adds to my at home skin care routine. i highly recommend this product to anyway. Let it take you back to when you were a kid and the smell of fresh cookies is all that you remember.

 Palmer's Cocoa Butter Dark Chocolate & Peppermint lip butter is an amazing product! I am a total lip product junkie, I have a ton of different ones. This one is by far one of the best I have ever tried. It goes on so smoothly and feels rich, and the smell is so indulgent! It doesn't taste, which is nice, because I don't like to taste my lip products all day long! The smell also wears off after a little while, so you don't HAVE to smell chocolate all day. It leaves my lips smooth and moisturized!

Palmer's cocoa butter formula dark chocolate and peppermint Lip Butter, where has this product been all my life? I cannot say enough good things about this product. I have been an addict of another medicated product for a very long time and now I am addicted to Palmer's because not only is it appealing and wonderfully soothing for my windblown, outdoor abused, lips, it is also lusciously delicious! I get a smile on my face when I reach for this product. No more waxy, oily tasting goo to try to avoi.d What a pleasing flavor. Until I wrote this review and closly examined the package, I thought this product was all about cocoa butter and really did not know it had peppermint in it. I am not a peppermint person, but I did not know it was in this product. I love the flavor. The texture may be a bit thick for some people, but I think it is perfect for my needs.

I found this Palmer's Dark Chocolate and Peppermint Lip Butter close to free as a deal at a store. So I decided to purchase it and give it a try. I love lip gloss and thought why not, and I love the flavors Dark Chocolate and Peppermint, seperate and together. I love this lip gloss/butter and will be purchasing in the future. I wish I would've gotten more than one at the time. It smells and very good. It has a subtle peppermint taste to it. I would like more of a taste to it, but that's not a huge deal to me that it doesn't. It immediatley moisturizes my lips and if they are painful it eases the pain from the dryness of them. It is a little greasy when you first put it on and sometimes it doesn't go on very easily and clumps for lack of a better term. However, all in all it is a great lip moisturizer when your lips are dry, especially in the winter. I also like the fact that this item is not tested on animals.

I do not wear lipstick but I often need protection for my lips and something to keep them moist during the drying months of winter. I was attracted to this product because of the Dark Chocolate & Peppermint formula and the fact that it contains Vitamin E which I know if very healing and soothing. That combination sounded pretty nice so I went ahead and purchased some. The lip butter smells divine with a hint of mint and chocolate and it works pretty well to keep your lips soft and hydrated. It did add a gloss and I'm not a big fan of gloss but at least my lips weren't cracking from dryness. I would probably use this product more if they added some SPF protection. I recently had my fourth MOHS surgery for skin cancer - this time on my lip and although I have worn SPF lip balm when I was out in the sun, I never thought about the need to protect my lips each and every day from any sun damage.

This is hands down the best smelling personal care item I own. It doesn't smell like fake perfume like something you'd give a 4th grader. It goes on smooth like blistex but doesn't sting or smell mediciney like blistex does. I got this when it was on sale (free after rebate) at a drug store, and now I wish I didn't have a bunch of other chapstick type things to use up. Those feel like I am taking care of my lips as a chore. This is more of a luxury item.  For those looking for a minty flavor, this says peppermint on the label but honestly I just smell the dark chocolate in it. Don't let that stop you from buying it though!  I wish they would make this in a light color tint. If you are looking for color, this has none. Also, it doesn't last all that long, but that's okay because it gives you an excuse to buy more. Because it's an item that pampers you more than plain lip balms, this would make a nice small gift item for others.

This lip butter has the yummiest smell! It smells just like those Girl Scout Thin Mint cookies. It is colorless, and flavorless. I think the flavorless part might be a good thing though, if it were flavored, I might be tempted to lick it off my lips and dry them out. It has a nice subtle shine, more like a lip gloss and is not sticky. It is inexpensive too, and can be found in most stores. Very hydrating for the lips, but I have to reapply often during the day.

This is a great product for anyone with cracked or chapped lips.  It quickly softens your lips and heals any cracks and sores. If you can deal with the smell and the slightly greasy feeling, the results are wonderful.  I personally dread the smell of cocoa butter, but the dark chocolate and peppermint flavors really help. It smells really unique and is fun to wear. Overuse tends to make me a little nauseous though if i use it all day for a few days in a row. I would, however, recommend this product. it is a really cheap and an effective way to heal lips and keep them very soft and prevent crackings. I have noticed that ever since I started using it on a regular basis, this lipbalm has prevented my lips from cracking again, even in the cold. I usually prefer it in the winter when the weather starts to do weird things to my body. I only wish they could find some way to make this product less greesy and oily. i sometimes feel like I am using olive oil on my lips.

I picked this up at the drug store, after I saw my niece use it. Never knew the product even existed until then. Not only does it smell and taste great (i don't EAT it - but hey, my lips are close to my tongue).... It leaves my lips feeling conditioned, healthy and just enough glossy. Not gooey. My lips say Ahhhh!

I agree with all the other reviewers that this product is sooooooooooo yummmmy! I use it all the time I am out with no lipstick on.This is also a permanent part of my nightly ritual. This lip butter is sooooooo moisturizing and conditioning. When I use it at night before going to sleep, I always wake up the next day with very smoooth and soft lips. It can also be used as a lip gloss because if provides just the right amount of shine. It is not sticky at all, and like mentioned, tastes great. Even my 7-year old niece loves to use it. I have this lip butter handy at all times - I've got one in the house, and one in my purse so I can use it whenever I want. And with the price, there's no excuse not to have this product handy at all times! This product is especially useful during winter when my lips tend to dry all the time. And during those times when my lips are chapped, the peppermint in this lip butter really soothes my lips. This is a great product.
