I was skeptical about this blender having tried a Vitamix, but I was pleasantly surprised. This blender does everything that I need, including make hot soup! It is sturdy, powerful and a cinch to clean. And, the best part is that, for a high performance blender, it's affordable. Design I don't care for the red accents on the blender. I also wish it had a few more settings, but it does everything I need it to do.
