I've had no problems with this blender's performance. When I need it for mixing, blending and especially, my main need for a blender, which is for making my own homemade versions of light, low fat, low calorie ice creams using hot water and gelatin and then adding skim milk powder and ice, it is perfect in every way. I used to use less expensive blenders, but the difference in blending performance is undeniable with this model. My ice creams come out thick and fluffy and truly appetizing. Same with blending smoothies. They come out fluffy, frothy and however you like. Depends of course on the addition or omission of ice. My only reason that I sometimes do not want to use it is that I hate taking it apart and cleaning it. But it is no more difficult than other blenders I've owned. This was a god send when my old blender broke and I needed a new one Blending Power Blends as I expect it to Versatility Works for a wide variety of things, mixing, smoothie drinks, sauces, fruits, veggies, etc. Ease of Cleaning Not fun to clean but not below par Ease of Use Simple, buttons are clear. Design Attractive and functional at same time Durability No problems so far .......
