Orangina is one of the most original, cool, and delicious drinks I've ever had. It is very unlike orange soda because it is made with real oranges! It's like drinking carbonated orange juice. To me it has the texture of a Mimosa (orange juice and champagne), but the taste of orange juice. It's like bubbly, carbonated orange juice! It's awesome and I highly recommend it.
light and fresh, perfect orange flavor
I love my Orangina. It is the right amount of orange, the right amount of carbonation and the right amount of sweet. It isn't artificially bright like some fruit sodas and it has a small amount of actual juice and pulp. Normally, I don't like pulp. I don't even particularly like it in my orange juice, but Orangina is perfect so it works. I first had Orangina in Europe where they are famous for their ads. I have been a convert ever since. When I drink it I can see myself on a hot summer day in an Italian piazza with a back pack at my feet and a little piece of heaven in my hand.
In small towns like the one I grew up in, you can't find Orangina, but in large cities, it is usually over beside the specialty rootbeers, a section that is sometimes moving toward the coctail mixers. I get mine a Harry's the large specialty grocery store where Alton Brown shops in Good Eats.
