I've had this player for approximately 3 years and have a collection of 500+ HD DVD's. This player is built solid and I've rarely if ever had an issue playing any discs, even those that have given other players trouble. The chassi is heavy and physically appealing. The Picture Quality and Audio Quality are stellar, and the player upscales between than our other HD DVD or Blu-Ray players. It is easy to set up via the Setup media, and has processed all audio codecs flawlessly. We use a Harmony remote, but the included remote was easy to use when used to test various audio and video features of the player. One drawback is the boot time, but I am willing to trade this for its solid performance. Excellent, solid, and reliable player from Onkyo.
