Recently Len's H.M.O. let him down on his test strips. They had promised them on several occasions, and they didn't come. We contacted his doctor's office, and I went and picked up a OneTouch Ultra meter, which came with 10 test strips, and they also gave Len a bottle with extra ones for him. At one time he did have the OneTouch Mini, so knew that this product works. He switched on the machine, followed the instructions, making sure that he had the correct code for the test strips in the meter, and then checked his sugar reading. The machine worked well, and the test strips worked fine every time. Yesterday he finally received his delivery of 8 boxes of test strips for his meter, so he won't be using this one again.
