I recently ordered this blood pressure monitor after suffering cardiac arrest and was told by my nurses to keep track of my blood pressure and heart rate. I wanted one that was convenient and easy to use and the wrist monitor does just that. It simply goes around your wrist, you push the start button and it pumps up by itself. You do not have to pump it up yourself which is very nice. It gives you your heart rate, blood pressure and also has the time of day on it as well. You have to keep your arm up by your chest when you do it or at times you can get a false reading. It is very affordable and is well made for the price. I like it for the convenience of use and it is small and easy to pack and take with you when you travel. It also would easiiy fit in your handbag or backpack if you need to take with with you to work or school. I would recommend it to anyone who wants a good monitor that is easy to carry with you, easy to use and quite reliable.

I've been on blood pressure medications for several years, and the Omron Wrist Blood Pressure Monitor is the third monitor I've had in that time, and the first wrist monitor. My doctor originally recommended that I monitor my blood pressure at home, and my first two units were the arm cuff type. I didn't get a wrist unit from the start because I thought they wouldn't be as accurate. However, I took the unit to my doctor's office and we compared it to their reading, and it was pretty close! The wrist unit has a large memory, which is great if you want to write down your home results to show your doctor. It is much more comfortable to use than an arm cuff monitor too. Just line up the little heart with your thumb, raise your arm across your chest so it is heart height, and voila! Takes less than a minute to get your blood pressure. The problem I found with the arm cuff versions is that it squeezed my upper arm so tightly, I would be left with broken blood vessels. You don't get that with a wrist monitor. I would recommend the Omron to anyone who is looking to do some at home blood pressure monitoring. It is easy to use, accurate, and comfortable!

This portable Wrist Blood Pressure Monitor is fast and easy to use. Is has the convient easy read memory which shows the last pressure read and goes back with the dates and times of all the others you have taken. It is confortable and adjusts easily to fit many different wrist sizes. You just have to place it around your wrists and press the start button and hold it against your heart. When its finished it will beap and let you know. How much easier can you get. I know it sure beats trying to put a cuff on someones are and pump it up by hand then having to count the seconds away...lol. The things I dont like about it too much is that sometimes if your not holding still or dont hold the cuff in the right place it can give you a false reading, or sometimes it will just beep and say error. Thea gets a little frustrating after a few tries. Then you just wanna throw it out the window. But I do use it at least once a day if not more and for the year ive had it ive only had to change the batteries once. that great to me.

I wasn't sure how a wrist monitor would work and I was afraid it would not give a true reading. The best feature for this particular model is the built in memory. Instead of messing around with a daily/hourly blood pressure log, you can have all your readings stored with the date and time. When you visit the doctor you can show them your records right from the machine. This saves a lot of time. Another great feature is the size of this machine. It is nice and small and very inconspicuous so if you have health issues that require hourly blood pressure monitoring, the Omon monitor can go anywhere. It is also capable of taking accurate readings on just about any size wrists. This is a great option when used in a large family.

I purchased the Omron Automatic Wrist Blood Pressure Monitor at the local discount chain store and was very pleased with my purchase. I hadn't ever had a blood pressure monitoring devise prior to this purchase but was recommend by my physician to closely monitor my blood pressure. The feature that I like the best with this monitor is that it is so compact I can stick it in my purse if I need to take it along. I is easy to place the devise on my wrist as it has a velcro attachment on the band. The instructions were very clear and concise. It was very easy to use and the print out for the blood pressure and pulse reading were large LDC numbers and very easy to read even without my glasses on. It didn't get too tight on my wrist when I start it up to take a reading. I have compared the reading to the readings of other monitors and it appears to be very accurate. Another plus was that the cost was set at a very economical price point.

Hello I have one of these blood pressure machines. They're pretty good for telling you your blood pressure. I could say it's accurate for most part. A person with high blood pressure would want to use this machine often because, honestly who doesn't want to know they're blood pressure especially if it's high all the time. I used this product in a doctors office. However the physician advised me that I could no longer use this product due to he did not think it was accurate.  My next employment was for a Sub-Acute unit and the nurses would borrow this product from me all the time.  They LOVED IT.  And inquired as to why they could not be ordered for the intire floor for use on the patients.  I myself loved it and used it frequently due to the fact I have high blood pressure and I could use it on myself with ease.  I wish more people would turn to this product - it's easy to carry around - not big and bulky and is simply to run.
