I have used friends' newer cameras, and still haven't found one as easy to use as this one. Some of them take better pictures, but I don't blow mine up bigger than 8x10, so this one is fine in terms of resolution. It may be little and old, but I won't buy a new one until I absolutely have to.

I have been using this camera for the past 4 years and it had been great,i have a 18 month old baby and from the day he is born i captured every memory using this camera and i can vouch every single picture is as good as professionally taken ones.the camedia master software is also good to edit crop or to add graphics,its very useful for my scrapbooking projects also.the camera is very easy to use even for an ametuer,the batteries do not deplete as quickly as some of the other digital cameras my friends are using.

This has been the best camera I have ever owned.  It is small and easy to use.  The prints are of great quality.  I have bought a newer camera of the same brand thinking I was upgrading, but I wish I hadn't bought the new one.  My D580 works way better.

The D-580 is so easy to use.  The features that I love about it is its movie mode, panoramic , night scene and portrait capabilites.  There are more but I love these the best.  Also, I like the feature that allows me to lock a picture that I have taken into my camera so it can't be accidentally erased!  Another neat thing is I can add voice or sound to a still picture!  I truly recommend this camera.
