**Old Spice Red Zone Old Spice After Hours Anti-Perspirant & Deoderant **for men works very well for males who don't have excessive sweating and under-arm wetness and odor. It smells very nice, in my opinion...very manly but not too strong of a scent that is overwhelming in any way. It actually smells a bit like a nice after shave or cologne, but it doesn't overpower those products when they are applied. This product controls underarm wetness very well for men that don't sweat so much that they need a very strong or clinical strength anti-perspirant & deoderant. My husband does not need that type of protection because he doesn't sweat a lot. Two of my sons are very active and DO sweat a lot, and this product is not strong enough for either of them. The active ingredient in Old Spice Red Zone Old Spice After Hours Anti-Perspirant & Deoderant is Aluminum Zirconium Trichlorohydrex (19%) (Anhydrous). There are clinical strength OTC anti-perspirant/deoderants on the market that contain 20% Aluminum Zirconium Trichlorohydrex. That 1 percent extra may not seem like more of enough to make a difference, but it does. So, this Red Zone by Old Spice is strong enough to provide my husband and my 15 and 12 year old sons with all of the protection they need, but it is not strong enough to keep my 19 and 23 year old sons from ending up with ugly wet stains on their shirts. They need that extra one percent to control wetness from underarm perspiration. The thing that my husband and 2 sons really don't like at all about this product is that it's a solid that is far from invisible. It's white. It's very white and it very obvious if it gets on clothing. It leaves white marks everywhere it touches. That is aggravating but that isn't even as bad as what it looks like when it's applied to men who have hair under their arm pits. This product clumps and leaves white patches in underarm hair that is very unattractive. I suppose my husband and 15 and 12 year old sons could shave their armpits and this product would work much better for them, but they aren't the types to shave under their arms, so they don't use Old Spice Red Zone Old Spice After Hours Anti-Perspirant & Deoderant anymore. I'm glad because it looks gross and it leaves white stains on their shirts that is hard to get out and because I really dislike the way it makes their underarms look. Because of the white clumps and white stains this deoderant/anti-perspirant leaves on clothing and in underarm hair, My sons, husband, and i cannot recommend it. It smells nice and controls perspiration, but it sure looks nasty while doing so. There are too many invisible stick deoderant/anti-perspirants out there that work as well or better than this one so it simply isn't necessary to have to put up with ruined shirts and gross looking underarms.
