Can't Go Wrong Here

You can never go wrong with the classic scent of old spice. For an inexpensive item, old spice delivers a consistent and long lasting scent. I don't use any other deodorant. If the product isn't wrong there shouldn't be any reason to buy any other one. I highly suggest this and any other old spice product.

My Husband will not use any other deodorant

5

True, my husband will not use other deodorants, some times I think he's just being picky but he's made a point with me so I am sharing his feedback.  First he normally does not sweat alot, seriously, so when he does he told me he does not like to use antiperspirant deodorants.  Second, he likes the scent, I do too but being budget concious, I am flexible on that.  Typically P&G will send out coupons in the Sunday paper to try the other deodorants with the tropical or artic breeze scents (Old Spice brand).  I could not find these new varieties as deodorant only.  Most are now deodorant & antiperspirant, so I had to return them when my husband reminded me it has to be deodorant.  I also picked up other brands to see if my hubby would be more budget oriented.  I have two RIght Guards & one Speed Stick (all deodorants) and my husband will not even flinch to try them.  I finally asked him what's up?  He basically shared, he likes the old spice scent and the other deodorants smell feminine in by his point of view.

I'm a girl and I use it

This deoterant lasts longer and smells better than any deoterant I have ever used.  I wish they had a female version, but for now I feel no shame in using a guy deoterant to get the best protection.

Contrary to what the advertising campaign would have you believe, this product does not turn you into a wealthy, handsome ladies' man, so you can just put that one out of your head right now. On the other hand, it won't hurt. No matter how you feel about the scent, it's better than your own. And I happen to like the scent. It's masculine, but doesn't make me feel like I'm about to find myself in an advertisement in GQ or something You also can't beat the price. It seems like a middle-of-the-line product for a bargain-bin price, which is always good. I knew a guy one time who said this stuff caused him to break out in a rash. I'm not convinced he hadn't been tangling with some wicked poison ivy, but there's a warning on the stick (like just about every other deodorant in the world) that says not to use it if you break out in a rash, or on "broken skin," whatever that is. So just exercise good sense, and you ought to be fine.

I steal this deodorant from my boyfriend!

Lest you think I sweat profusely, and thus need a man's deodorant, let me clarify that I am indeed a woman and sweat like a regular lady. However, so many women's deodorants have weird flowery scents that compete with any kind of perfume, so I try to avoid them. I am also not a fan of food scents like vanilla--because personally, having my pits smell like cookies doesn't say "clean" to me. Old Spice, in contrast, has so many positive connotations for me--when I smell Old Spice, I think of my grandpa and also of my dad. I think Old Spice is one of the cleanest, most classic scents of all, and personally I think that it smells as good on women as it does on men. So yes, technically I bought this deodorant for my boyfriend originally. But I stole it and use it now, for the smooth texture, the lack of white streaks, the good but not crazy clinical protection, and the clean scent. I love it--I guess I'll have to buy another stick for him!

great deodorant, good inexpensive brand

I tend to not really care about the deodorant brand and just buy whatever is cheapest, on sale, I have a coupon for it, etc. So my husband has ended up using at least a dozen different kinds of deodorant over the past couple years since that's just how I buy deodorant. This is one of several different Old Spice varities he's tried, and he likes it. He said he can't tell much of a difference between the different types (except for the Old Spice High Endurance Anti Perspirant/Deodorant Invisible Solid Original Scent, which was absolutely AWFUL--see my review on that). But he thinks that this one worked just about as well as any other product he's used, Old Spice or any other brand. It wasn't particularly exceptional--he still hasn't found the "perfect" deodorant that totally gets rid of perspiration, but it works pretty well and is one of the cheaper brands, especially if you have a coupon for it.
