I have severe sinus issues. Two surgeries later and I still get sinus infections several times a year. While I use this during infections, this product is best during winter right after you turn on the heat and your house gets really dry. Nasal passages dry out just like the skin on your hands and feet. Using this helps alleviate dry, itchy nasal passages as well as keeping the sinuses clear.

During cold and flu season, Ocean saline nasal spray can be a life-saver. I recently had a killer sinus infection. Ironically, my nasal passages completely dried out during this time-my doctor recommended a nasal spray to keep the nasal passages moist. Moist nasal passages work better and are able to keep bacteria, pollen, etc out of the nasal cavity better, thus preventing further sicknesses and infections. I liked that it helps you get better without taking more oral medicines. As this is a saline nasal spray, unlike Afrin, you can use it as often as you want. I used it several times a day during my infection. As a result you can use it during cold and flu season to prevent sicknesses. I like that it helps prevent sicknesses. There are a ton of saline nasal sprays out there. Ocean is more expensive than store brands but I have found that it doesn't burn or sting my nose. The price was well worth it. Winter is a bad time in the midwest. The house gets so dry, and so do the nasal and sinus passages. Using Ocean saline nasal spray periodically during the day, and just before going to bed at night, has helped keep my passages soft and moistened, thus cutting down on sore throats and sinus clog. when i first took my son to the doctor they told me the best thing you can do it to keep shooting saline spray up his nose to help solidify the mucus. That made alot of sense to me because i'd rather do something that isn't very invase and rather not put my little baby on antibiotics. And plus is the symptoms can be treated with this spray, i'm willing to fight my little boy to get this spray up his nose. it's not very comfortable for your little babes, but for adults it really isn't anything big. Because it's so afforable you can give yourself a treatment multiple times a day. If you want to get really serious you could also add a saline wash in the shower that comes in the form of a little tea pot that has a salt solution packets. By rinsing out the sinuses you decrease the illness life span a great deal and you start feeling better faster. who doesn't want that for themselves. i don't go anywhere without my saline spray.

OCEAN Premium Saline Nasal Spray has actually been a fixture of our home for years, and I'd been advised to buy this and keep it on hand since I was a teenager. My bedroom growing up was directly above the furnace room for my apartment building, and while I was always warm, I'd frequently had dried out nasal passages, that would hurt more when I hit New York City winter air. (OCEAN Premium Saline Nasal Spray also comes in a travel size, so it can become a fixture in my carry-on, too.) I've used other products, like saline mixes and Neti pots and I never felt like I was mixing it appropriately.  What I really like most about this spray is that it's perfectly formulated for me already.  I don't have to worry about over-salting something, and then having that tingling burn in my nose.  The head of the bottle is also just perfect, and it gives the strength and stream I need to soothe without feeling drowned or too dry.

I use my Netty Pot more then this product. This product does help with a dry nose. It is more practical then the Netty Pot in regards to the fact that Ocean Premium Saline Nasal Spray can be taken with you anywhere, and used most anytime. In our family we all have one bottle with our name on it. My oldest gets bloody noses pretty bad. When we sprayed Ocean Premium Saline Nasal Spray up his nose it really helped! No more bloody noses! This product is more used during the winter months.

I've had two surgeries for sinus issues and used many sinus sprays.  Ocean is the best one I've ever used that didn't require a prescription.  The delivery spray is controllable (via the amount of pressure you use), efficient and you can use it easily thoughout the day which is great when you're in between sinus rinses.

having suffered with seasonal allergies and a chronically stuffed nose for most of my life , I have tried numerous products in an effort to clear my nose and breathe easier . Many nasal sprays have a "rebound effect" of used too often and prescription nasal sprays often contain steroid which have negative side effects that negates the benefits , in my opinion, After discovering Ocean nasal spray, I find that this is the most natural ,safest form of relief for me for a stuffed up nose . Basically , you could make this yourself using salt and purified water because it is a saline based nasal spray. There are no irritating side effects, no dependency , and it works almost instantly in clearing up a stuffed up nose and bringing relief . If you suffer from seasonal allergies or other conditions that make you feel as if you cannot breathe , you will welcome this product . It is totally harmless and you will be amazed at how such a simple , natural product can help so much .
