I tried this product about a year ago.  I was researching better foods for my seven cats.  It didn't have biproducts, and seemed to be of a higher quality than most anything I could get. It was affordable too.  I gradually changed their food, but the litter box was always smelly and runny.  Even a few months after starting, it just didn't get any better.  Then my eldest came down with fatty liver disease.  There are a million different causes for that and maybe she just didn't eat it because she didn't like it.  Either way, I saw rumors about the dog food and fatty liver.  I know that's just what that was was a rumor, but that was enough to make me worry.  We switched back.  It should be a great way to feed my kids, but even with the just litter box issues...it wasn't right for my kids.  The price isn't bad, and six of my seven cats liked the taste.  I love that there are no by-products in it.

Since switching my cats over to Nutro Max Cat, I have noticed a change in that attitudes of my cats when it comes t there eating habbits. Due to the shape they are not able to devoure the food as quickly which has stronglt decreased the regurgitation issues they were having. It has also helped keep my larger cat at a more stable weight.

first of all, i am a crazy cat lady!  we have 6 cats, all of different ages: three are technically considered to be senior cats, and the other three are all adults.  nutro max cat food is so great for us because of the variety, so we can mix a couple of different kinds to meet the health needs of all of our cats.  we typically mix the senior with the indoor weight control, sometimes we add in something for hairball control.  this seems to work really well for our cats.  plus, it's a great price.  you can typically find it online or in pet stores for a reasonable price.  on top of that, there is a great variety in terms of the package sizes- this works well for mixing and matching, but it also works well for storage concerns if you have a tight space.  overall, nutro max cat food is a really great product- we love it, and so do all 6 of our kitties!  and, it's recommended by our vet!  we've been with the same vet for 20 years!!

I have four cats that I love very much and their nutrition is important to me. Nutro Max does not use any by-products and is made with all natural ingredients. They also have chicken flavors in kitten, adult, and senior (my cats cover all three life stages), which is great because my kitties just don't like seafood. Another great thing about Nutro Max is that it really helps with litterbox odor. Because the ingredients are high quality and nutrient dense, my cats poop less and have a smaller and more compact stool. Plus, they really like the taste and don't require as much food to meet their nutritional needs each day.

I use the canned and pouch Nutro Cat food, and occasionally the bagged dry food, I do tend to vary the brands of dry cat food I use for optimum health for the cats. I vary the flavors so the cats don't get burned out on the same thing everyday. It has worked so far, they rarely have hairballs and their fur is soft and clean. Their energy levels are great too, they aren't bored and lazy. Varieties include Kitten, Adult and Senior, with some flavors for Indoor cats and weight management, too. I wish I'd discovered this brand a lot sooner!

I tried this because I got a cupon but the cats love it and their coats look healthier so I have stuck with it.  I feel they have been healthier and it is convient since I prefer a dry food.  I open it and store it in plastic containers with screw on lids.  The cats have been known to knock the containers to the floor trying to get into them to get more.

Nutro cat food is THE cat food you should feed to your cats. The 20 lb bag we have for our 3 cats lasts about a month and a half.  We use the indoor cat formula, and it gives our cats the silkiest fur i've ever seen on a feline.  Each of our three cats we got from a local humane society shelter and to say the least sometimes when you get a animal from a shelter their coats aren't as silky and shiny as you'd like it.  Within a very short time, their fur is so much smoother and happier you wouldn't believe the difference.  I've met other people with cats that use less expensive food with way less quality and you can definitely tell the difference between the two.  So far, I've only been able to find the food at specialty shops but, I'd much rather support local pet stores than mega chains that are everywhere and taking over this nation.  This cat food is a perfect example that if you treat your animals well with their food, they will give you so much back in return in their health and love!

I have an 18 year old cat.  He eats Max cat.  It has great nutrition with no byproducts.  The y just changed the formula.  He seemed to like the old formula better.  There is no lamb in the food now; just chicken but more of it.  I'm sure he will get used to it because I'm going to continue to use it because for the money it's the best on the market; especially when the pet stores have sales.
