We purchased this hood when we remodeled our kitchen two summers ago. We purchased this hood in Black. We got the 34" size because we had a larger space for the hood than in most homes today. We live in an older home and needed to find a hood that would fill the space. This hood does nicely. It has a double filter, high and low fan speeds, and high and low light levels. We did not vent our fan to the outside as our old hood which in looking back, we should have vented to the outside. The inside filter pads are hard to find and have to be ordered from the company. We could not find anyone that kept them in stock. We have already had to replace one of the light bulbs which are quit expensive. I do use the light a lot since I do not have a lot of light in my kitchen so I guess that is about normal. All in all, I am pleased with my choice since I do not plan to remove and replace it. Design Fair. Filter for fan is hard to find. Store does not carry them Fan Speed Fair Noise Not too noisy Illumination Great but bulbs do not last long and are very expensive.
