I, too, searched long and hard to find a treadmill that could hold up to a family of runners that excercise on a daily basis! This Nordic track treadmill fit the bill. The machine has a solid construction, commercial grade motor, 12 weightloss programs with automatic speed and incline adjustments! Working out has become more of a pleasure and less of chore! If you want a solid treadmill--this is what you are looking for!

so i go to the gym 5 to 6 days a week to work out my lower and upper body. before i lift weight or do anything in the gym i have to do a little cardio. i get on the treadmill and get my heart rate up. i do this for about 20 minutes. then a 5 minute cool down. so since i use it so much let me tell you what i like and don't like as far as how this treadmill works. its easy to use. its a great cardio workout, the long tracks make it smooth. its very nice and comfortable. i like the safety features and how solid it is. it fold up which i thought is very neat. i love it. but then again there are always cons when you have a lot of pros. there is no perfect treadmill. its not that quiet. its very heavy. it looks small but its very big and will take a big part of the room. if your paying for it, i will tell you its expensive. but if you have the money go a head this is great. if your gym doesnt have it maybe suggest they will add it to their gym because it a hella workout.

First off, I have to mention that before buying this, I was debating between this and the Sole F80. For all intents & purposes, they have similar attributes. Give or take here and there on the warranty durations, etc. I just ended up getting a slightly better deal on this one. It's a bit heavier than the Sole (300lbs!!), but I'm a bigger guy (6'3" - 225lbs), so I needed something substantial. Here are the main reasons I love this treadmill: 1. Sound system is better than most. Still not great, but better than others I've seen. 2. For the price, it's hard to beat. So far, it's been incredibly durable. No problems going on 1+ years of steady use. 3. Has a DE-cline feature. Different than most treadmills. 4. Belt size is bigger than most. 20" x 60" for my longer strides. 5. Looks slick! Overall, I had to give this 5 stars. You'll be pleased with this unit, and as far as I've read, Nordictrack consistently makes this unit well. You won't be disappointed.

I love this treadmill.  I have had it for nearly 3 years and it has held up beautifully.  I love the ipod hook in, speaker system with subwoofer, fan, 12% incline, goes up to 12 mph (even though i only go up to 7), and fold up option.  I also like the wide running surface and power of the treadmill.  I am very satisfied with this product!

We bought this brand new, and I used it regularly for 6 weeks.  Then it broke.  The inclince got stuck at the very top and would not come down.  I called the customer service number and had to go round and round with them.  They finally decided to send someone out, but it took about 2 weeks for them to get a service person to me.  The first time the service person came, they did not have the right part.  So, it took even longer to get it fixed.  It was very depressing to get into the habit of using it and then have to stop because it wasn't working.  The repair person said the treadmill was definitely faulty and a bad sensor caused it to get stuck at the highest incline.  I had a few other problems (belt slipping, not staying centered, etc.).  I quit calling customer service because it always involved being on hold forever, getting treated rudely, and not resulting in real help.  I will not buy products from NordicTrack in the future.

I decided that neither my dogs or myself shouldn't go without our daily runs when the weather is too cold or raining and the solution...a Treadmill.  I went from store to store and tried out at least 4 different units of different brands.  When I was on the Nordic-Track, I had found exactly what felt right for me and my four legged companions.  Being a dog trainer myself, it was easy to train both my little high energy dogs to use this "tool" to help lower their energy levels, to help maintain good weight management.  I found I was having little or no foot pain vs my feet pounding on cement. It's a fun and easy way to keep myself fit and loose weight while watching TV!  My Nordic-Track even has an 'emergency shut off' clip that I attach to my waist and when my dogs are exercising, the emergency shut off is attached to their collars.  It is such a great idea and I don't worry about my dogs falling off or me slipping.  I did purchase the separate heart monitor chest strap for double accuracy as my Nordic-Track has a built-in read out.  When I'm done, I just fold it up and roll it back into a closet.

** The NordicTrack 1500c Treadmill is awesome.  First of all is both looks and feels sturdy.  Obviously, it's important to have a smooth running motor and this machine has it.  I really love the perks.  The ipod dock is great, but I managed to find one with iFitlive which connects wirelessly.   Love it!**

I have used this treadmill for almost a year now and have yet to have a problem with it. It runs smooth everytime i use it and it is very good on my knees. I have bad knees and still have not had a problem with them it takes impact very well.

We have gone through many treadmills. My husband wears them out pretty quickly. But when we got the nordic track 1500 it seems to be better quality than the others we have had in the past. I use it regularly as well. I love to use it in the privacy of my own home. It is relativvley quiet. My two year old and 4 month old sleep through the sound of it. It is well worth the money.

I have used the Nordic Track for 5 years, since I was diagnose with diabetes. The Nordic Track  is   very easy to use. The tread mill has a fan which helps to cool off while doing the work out. The treadmill run very smooth, and does not make a lot of noise. The higher incline burns more calories, and get's you in shape faster. I know right away how many calories, how many miles, how much time is left, and my pulse rate, by glancing at the dash board. I walk the tread mill 30 minutes each day. I have lost a total of 60 pounds.  The tread mill is a space saver. When not in use, you can store it up right. I like this feature. The treadmill is very heavy, while using the space saver feature, make sure the lock is securely fasten. This treadmill is expensive. I believe you get what you pay for. I highly recommend the Nordic Track. It's built to last a very long time, and is trouble free. It is very easy to maintain, and cleaning it is a breeze. I like having a treadmill. I can workout any time I want, and not have to go to a gym or walk out side which can be dangerous. I feel more comfortable walking inside my home.
