We purchased our Nordic Track Summitt 4500 treadmill in April 2002.  The only thing we have replaced is the belt about one year ago.  We have been very happy with the performance of this machine but not as happy with Icon who is now handling the warranty for Nordic Track.  The people at Icon are not knowledgeable about the Nordic Track treadmill and suggested a part that we did not need.  When we received it and found out it was not the part we needed we were told we could return it but after the return postage and handling charges we only received credit for approximately 1/4 of the part cost.  Then we still had to order the correct part.  We watch TV while using the treadmill but the newer models are quieter and have more features such as a cooling fan.  We also like the fact that you can move the treadmill fairly easily by folding up the track and then is fairly easy to roll out of the way for cleaning etc.  When we need another treadmill we will again consider Nordic Track.
