This is a very basic cell phone.  It has great sound quality.  I found it very easy to utilize.  I didn't need the instruction manual to be able to perform the basic functions.  It is compact.  The only problem I find is that it's easy to lose.  In the past I have had issues with other cell phones and the battery life.  I have found that this cell phone  has great battery life.  The price of the phone is reasonable, allowing any one to afford it.

My phone is better! *smile*I consistently get in conversations with friends who have purchased expensive cell phones that have all the bells and whistles, but then they invariably end up telling me how terrible their phone is. They don't seem to get good reception, the phone breaks easily when dropped, and they act quite disgruntled about phones in general. I sumgly tell them that I have awesome reception, and then prove it by showing them the places I have reception where they don't. I've also dropped my phone on numerous occasions, and it has survived even my rough treatment. My Nokia 6010 may not have all the bells and whistles, but I love my phone! And it's better than yours. *wink*

I only use my cell when traveling or for emergencies, and I only use it as a phone.  This was the least expensive phone I could get with the plan I chose.  Because of its "candy bar" style the microphone is far from your mouth.  I have had numerous occasions where the person on the other end had a difficult time hearing me, and I'm not that quiet when I talk.  If you don't buy a case for it the keys can be activated by accident whenever it's on.  It is not terribly sensitive to signals either.  My next phone will be a flip type.  This phone does have texting capabilities, but that's about it.  You can't connect to your computer or the internet.

Nokia Brand is one of my favorite when it comes to phone. This was actually the second Nokia phone that I had purchased. The phone in itself is small, very comfortable and easy to use. The Nokia 6010 is a pretty basic phone for users that just cannot get into technology, it's for users that just simply want to make calls and send texts. I liked that it featured a calculator, to-do list and an alarm clock(you know that is always important). The light up feature is also cool although it didn't stay lit very long. The outer appearance is very durable. I had dropped my phone couple times and it still came on and worked like a champ; what was also great was that it also had basic games that you can play. The battery life also worked well on this phone. I could have talked for about 4 hours and still had battery life remaining. All in all this phone could have done the basic for what was needed, making calls and texting. Up to this day, my son still throws it around but once it's charged; it comes on like it was just bought yesterday.

I got this phone since my last phone broke and I needed a backup one until my contract experienced and I was able to get a new phone. This phone is okay for it's price. Of course its no smart phone but hey what do you expect I'm a little spoiled. The phone has the basics and nothing seriously basic that is missing. This phone is pretty dependable and a good backup. I mean I wouldn't seriously keep on using it for a short period of time but I bet you that this phone was the bomb when it first came out. I mean it has texting and limited phone abilities. Nice way to not completely feel like your cool data plan is not being used. My old phone has a problem since I lived in a area that had pretty poor reception but it seems this phone has slightly better reception, no problem in that area. Overall for it's price no problem pick up this phone and it easier to pass off. It's also small and compact so it may be a plus if you're used to your own heavy smartphone.

I am fan of Nokia.I bougt this phone for my grandmother. And it is a great phone for a people who want to just use it for receiving calls. It is very sturdy phone and the operations are very easy. My granny learned all operations within a day and now she love the phone. The volume of the phone is too good so she can here it even the cell is in another room. The batteries are also good so no need to charge it every day. So my gradmother started loving Nokia now.

The Nokia 6010 is an ok phone...pardon me but my view on these type of phones may seem bias..but you can blame technology ..in this era of technology..i think that these type of phones dont really stand a chance..however this may be a good phone for a younger person..but for the advid phone person..there is not enough features to hold anyones attention. I would recommend this to a child ..maybe a first time cell phone user..but that is about it..there is nothing special about this phone..it makes calls..sounds ironic..becaus that is what a phone is suppose to do..but aside from that ..dont expect much. In my opinon this is defintely a first generation phone for practical users. Im not sure who tNokia hand in mind when they made this phone but i would highly reccomend that they take in to consideration the consumer and attempt to upgrade this immediately and target the technically inclined user.

if i am ever stuck anywhere in  God knows where and i'm scared, i know i can rely on this phone and for that matter all these older nokia models which are so strong ! this phone is not the prettiest or the smallest but when you need to make a phone call or when you're on an important call you want your phone to be reliable... and this phone definately represents reliability. i love how nokia really considers reception and making it so strong. i dropped this phone so many times, it's not even funny. the onlhy reason i decided to switch phones is because i wanted one with a memory so i can save music on it and use auxillary in my phone. this way i don't always have to burn CD's or listen to the radio but besides that i don't care how the phone looks as long as it works great.. this phone is like a rock, something that can take a lot. . and i love it ! i will be a nokia fan for all of my life !!

The Nokia 6010 was my second phone after my boost flip mobile phone. I purchased it in 2005 from Walmart. Like the classic items of every manufactured products the older models are usually more reliant and damage resistant, I must have dropped it a hundred times in the 2 years of its contracted. I was truly satisfied with it for the duration of my use of it. The features and function of the Nokia 6010 are very user friendly or simple to operate. I received high quality reception and the party on the other end never had difficulty hearing me. The  the Nokia 6010 reminds me of a type of device out of the old Star Trek television series or some other sci-fi film. The Nokia 6010 has a sturdy plastic covering and is well engineered. Interestingly enough, I still possess the Nokia 6010. Everythng is still intact. A nice belly clean and new cover and she is good as new! I plan to donate it along with the many other relic phones I still have in my possession. Many of the newer model phones are so tempremental and malfunction at the slightest tap or bump. I wish phone manufacturers would design phones not only with sleek style in mind but also with sturdiness of  the Nokia 6010.

They don't seem to get good reception, the phone breaks easily when dropped, and they act quite disgruntled about phones in general.  it provides the functionality that a person needs from a cell phone without all the bells and whistles that most basic cell phone users never utilize or need.  The ability to make a call when stranded on the road or to be contacted by family members  that are worried about you makes this the optimum model for senior citizens and non-technically proficient users.  The lack of distracting menu options increases the functionality of this model. Now that is a cell phone for me. Yes, it is basic in design and what it can do, but I do not want or need a phone to have email or take a video. I use my laptop for that. I wanted a phone that would make good clear calls and that is what you have.
