I'm not an expert photographer, but this camera makes me look good. The 39 focus points really let you focus wherever you want, and you can choose from an array of focusing and metering choices. If you're just an amateur like me, the "scene" selections are really helpful and give you just the right settings for things like sunsets, indoors, foggy weather, and many, many other settings that make your life easier as you take pictures. One of my favorite things about this camera is the LCD screen that flips out and swivels: it's so much easier to get an angle from down low when you can hold the camera to the ground and just tilt the LCD viewfinder so you can see what you're taking a picture of. The auto setting usually gives you the right settings for lighting and exposure, and makes taking pictures a snap (literally). There are so many functions in this camera that I'm motivated to learn more about photography and explore the many more amazing things my camera can do. You can expect good, high quality pictures from this camera for sure, even when you're just an amateur (or don't even have a clue what you're doing!).
