This shadow has a texture on it that doesn't show up very well (it's not very bright at all, and it doesn't make a bright shadow on my eyelids). The way this formula is, is that it doesn't last long at all throughout the day because it's so powdery and silky and it just falls off throughout the day. I think it looks pretty if you want an extremely light makeup look.

I have always been a fan of this brand and although it can be more expensive than some drugstore brands it is one of my favorite cosmetics. The quality of this product is always amazing, rich, and exciting. I always get compliments when I where this product and I am amazed at how long it lasts through the day without falling all over my face. The palette is durable and holds up well in the make up bag. Paired with an applicator brush it goes on smooth and does not flake or crease or cause smudging like a lot of other brands do. The color is rich and little product is needed to provide coverage. It can be a bit pricey but is worth the high quality results you will get from using this product and coupons are usually available in most beauty magazines. My only complaint is they do not make it in more color combinations!

This has great colors, stays on for a long time and great quaility. Worth the money. It applies very smooth onto the eyes so it feels comfortable. It is soft and doesn't harm the eyes. Its good for sensitive eyes. Also stays for a long time and doesn't wears of. The set of colors are a good match together. It give a elegant and simple look. A base and crease color works well together. This will brighten up your eyes and give a fresh look to your eyes. Meant for a everyday casual look to school, work or church. Like I said its hard to overdo it with this, cause its elegant. My favorite part about this is that it is very soft on you eyes. Most eyeshadows are a liittle rough and hard to blend. Neutrogenna's applies very smoothly and is good for blending. Lasltly the only negative is that its a little hard to open container. But that just goes to show the security. Use for all eye shapes cause its versatile.

I picked this up at a local store after running out of my old shadow.  I have not been disappointed.  The shadow itself is silky smooth and applies very well.  The applicator is a bit small, but you can always get a brush or alternate applicator, or even apply with your fingertip.  The colors themselves, a light beige and gray are essential basic colors and look great on every skin tone.  I've found that it is quite easy to adapt the shadow to fit a daytime or nighttime look.  You can simply increase the amount of gray shadow and use it to create a smokier look.  It's incredibly helpful to have an adaptable product like this especially when travelling where you don't want to take up extra space with additional products that serve only a single purpose.  This shadow is long lasting, and does not cake or crack even after a long day, and does not sweat off in the middle of a hot, humid day.  The shadow also lasts for an extremely long time in the container so it is a very good value.  I highly recommend this for everyone looking for a great basic shadow.

Like i have said in other reviews, i am a less is more makeup user.  I have always loved the natural look, ones where it just highlights what God gave you.  i want me noticed not my makeup.  The duo's have just a light shimmer so its appropriate for any age.  You can use both but you don't have to.  I use both colors when going out but just the lighter one for everyday use.  It is fine to use both for everyday use, but I am a housewife and it is a bit munch for me.  The colors they have chosen match wonderfully and glide right on.  They are so easy to apply and so silky.  they also dont over the day start caking in the creases nor does the color start to fade.  i can put it on in the morning and cook, clean all day and it looks as though i just applied it.  I also have noticed that my lids are so so soft and under my eyes as well because i usually apply the lighter shade to brighten up my eyes.  They are a little pricey, but depending on how much you use it lasts quite a while.

I love this eye shadow! I am super, super picky when it comes to eye shadow, and there have been times when I've given up wearing it because I couldn't find one I liked. The problem is that most don't stay on, or if they do stay on they look cakey and smeared by the end of the day (or sometimes not too long after apllying!)   Neutrogena Nourishing Eye Duo doesn't have any of those problems. It went on my skin smoothly, and the colors were perfect for my light brown, greenish-speckled eyes. I had a very natural look, yet my eyes looked dramtically brightened and had that "pop".   The look was perfect for both daytime and night. Although the colors aren't very dramatic, I like having a very natural eye lid and then using liner or mascara to give it an extra "oomph". This shadow easily goes from day to night. When I am outside and wearing make up, I don't want to look like a clown, and this eye shadow gave me a smooth, natural look that lasted and didn't make me feel self-soncious about my make up when I was in full sun. Also, my eyes have been very dry lately, so I have to be careful about product getting into them.  I am happy to report that this eye shadow didn't flake off or smear into my eyes.   I love the natural shades, and it does have a bit of shimmer (but not too much) that gives ones eyes an extra twinkle!   I can't rave enough about the texture of this eyeshadow. It's very silky and smooth. Often, when a shadow has such a silky texture, it ends up smeared or cakey, and again, that is *not* the case here.   Neutrogena has always been one of my top cosmetic lines for many reasons, and they definitely don't disappoint with their Nourishing Eye Duo in Fairy Dust.   Side note:  I cannot review the applicator, as I always use my own eye shadow brush. Irecommend investing in a good set of brushes. It makes the product go on easier and last longer.

I wanted to buy this eye shadow but didn't want to pay the price, but then I bought the Neutrogena eye duo- fairy dust and loved it. It goes on so nice and clean and I love it and it doesn't come off when you get you eyes watery or anything like that. I had a coupon and that also helped too and if I had to do it over again I would go out and buy another eye duo again. I do plan on buying more and I know how much I will Love it and use it everyday. You get two different colors and you can use just one or you can use both of them. I have done both and love the way it looks and I know you will love it too. I have had some eye makeup that got very clumpy on my eyes and hated it but with this eye duo it has never done that and it shows up really nice on your eyes. I found that you can get this eye shadow at almost any store and it is easy to find. So if you are wanting a good eye shadow go for this kind.
