I did love the natural color to this product; rather than the stark black that some have this mascara had a nice deep color that was black but more of a smokey black so it didn't overwhelm my eyes with a jet-black look to them that would have been too harsh with my fair skin tones. It went on very smooth and easy, no real clumping issues and there was a nice silky feel to it on my lashes but I really didn't notice too much difference in volume overall and I had to apply several coats to make sure it wasn't splotchy and too thin in areas. So coverage wasn't even really and with having to put multiple coats on the drying time was more than I expected and several minutes latter I was still wiping away the stray marks it left on my cheeks if I blinked. Removing it was easy later in the day and it did leave my lashes softer than they were before using it, so I think it did help to some degree in giving them moisture but overall it was more trouble than I expected and the product is just too thin to be effective. Ease of Application Actually applying was smooth and easy, but I had to use several coats to get it an even tone and cover all my lashes.

As a contact lens wearer, I am always on the lookout for safe and easy-to-use eye products. For years I used a contact lens safe mascara but it was discontinued. I decided to try Neutrogena's Healthy Volume Mascara. I had read that it was recommended by opthamologists. I am extremely happy with this product! It doesn't flake off into my eyes. It glides on smoothly and without clumping. The applicator is comfortable to use and not to big or bulky. The color is perfect for my blue eyes and brown hair. I have sparse thin lashes and this product provides the volume that I was hoping to achieve without a clumpy mess! It provides all day coverage and is easy to remove with gentle soap and water. I throw away my mascara after two months for safety reasons. This product seems to stay fresh for that amount of time. Any longer and it tends to dry out. If you wear semi-hard contacts like me, I would highly recommend this product! It can be painful if the tiniest bit of makeup gets in your eyes, but not with Neutrogena's Healthy Volume Mascara.

I am not a person who is brand-loyal to many products, but Neutrogena's Healthy Volume mascara is one product that I will not stray from!  I have very light skin, eyes and hair, so I buy the black brown color so that it's not too dark a contrast on my skin.  I love the color.  This mascara goes on very easily and I have never, ever had a problem with it "clumping" like other mascara's do.  My favorite thing about this mascara is how easily it comes off!  When I take a shower, it almost completely comes off, just from the water.  This really saves me in the expense of eye make up remover (now I do have to use a little after the shower, but not much at all!).  I have been using this mascara for 10 years now and have tried other kinds from time to time (free samples, etc), and I continue to come back to my tride-and-true Neutrogena!  I have even converted my sisters over to using this brand as well.  I would highly recommend this mascara to anyone.

The waterproof Neutragena Mascara that I just purchased is just alright.  It goes on well and I like the brush that came with it.  I was really wanting to try the waterproof mascara because I have problems with my mascara running.  I must say that I'm not an easy candidate :) However, for me, the waterproof mascara by neutrogena is not very waterproof.  Like many of the other brands I have tried, it runs and smears.  I'm not very happy with my purchase and found that it was pricey for it not to work as well as I had wanted. I'm actually a big fan of neutrogena and like majority of the products I have used.  This is one that works fine but if you are looking for true waterproof mascara, I would look a bit further.  I did find coupons for this product so that is a plus.  I also do not have complaints about the product except for it not being truly waterproof; however, i haven't found one yet that is!!!

I have very long eye lashes, but they are blonde and do not show up without mascara.  I just started using this mascara a couple of weeks ago, since it was on sale for a very good price and I really like it!  It may actually work a bit too well, since it makes my lashes seem even longer than they already were.  I have had issues with clumping with previous mascaras, but I have had no issues at all with clumping with this product.  It goes on very smooth and does not smudge.  Also, I like how it does not come off easily with water, but it comes off very easily with Neutrogena's eye makeup remover.  I only got this product because of the good sale, but I will continue to get it in the future.  It sells at a good price, even without sales, it does not clump, does not smudge, looks great (besides making my lashes look even longer, which can look too dramatic), and comes off easily with makeup remover.

I started using Neutrogena Healthy Volume Mascara about three weeks ago.  I compared it to the others in the makeup aisle and liked what it said about using it. It is easy to apply without clumping.  The brush easily reaches all my lashes so I am not gobbing mascara on my cheeks trying to get the little ones. Not only does it apply easily it also thickens my lashes and still leaves them as individual lashes. The best thing I have really noticed is that after about two weeks my lashes are visibly longer. I will definitely remain a Neutrogena Healty Volume Mascara customer.  No other mascara that I have tried as done so much in so little time.

I am a fan of most of the Neutrogena line of products. I was eager to try this mascara. The coverage is good, but it wears off and leaves dark circles under my eyes. It does not leave those little balls at the end of my lashes, which is a definite plus. The brush is big and plush and the lashes are coated more evenly than with some other brands. In defense of Neutrogena Healthy Volume Mascara, I must say that because I wear contacts, it is almost imperative that I use a type of waterproof formula so the mascara does not rub off into my eyes and under them. Neutrogena occasionally puts coupons in the Sunday insert for their shampoos and makeups to make it a bit easier for consumers to purchase their products. Sometimes the website has coupons as well. I am very appreciative of the coupons. It helps me purchase good quality products at a lower price. My advice to anyone considering purchasing this item would be to consider what your own needs might be. If you wear contacts, this particular version of Neutrogena mascara might not be for you. Otherwise, it is a great product.

I love Neutrogena Healthy Volume Mascara Regular in the Black-Brown shade. I am a makeup minimalist, I only wear on my face a minearal wear loose powder for sun protection and light coverage, mascara and lip gloss. I do not like the heavy or even obviously wearing makeup look. Neutrogena Healthy Volume Mascara fits my needs for light and natural. One coat adds length and color without looking fake. I especially like that this mascara does not clump. I absolutley hate mascara's that clump and this one does not. This mascara defines my eyes and looks and feels soft. It is also easy to remove with oil free eye make remover. It also doesn't seem to damage my eyelashes and quite possibly is conditioning them.

Neutrogena Healthy Volume Mascara has to be my favorite mascara at the moment! It lengthens and separates your lashes, but best of all is the volume! I normally don't have a problem finding mascaras that lengthen or curl, but my lashes are normally curly and long anyway. But I always have trouble finding a good mascara that adds volume (the one thing my lashes are missing)-but now i've found one! The wand on this mascara is super thick, which probably has a lot to do with all the volume. But it still coats all of your lashes! A lot of mascaras with thicker wands don't get all your lashes, but this one does! Oftentimes if I use another mascara, i'll end up going on top of it with this Neutrogena one, because really nothing compares with the volume this one gives! There really are no cons I can think of with this mascara! I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great volumizing mascara!

This mascara clumps and does not easily come off with make up remover.   I typically love Neutrogena for their low maintenance look, but this new formula for Healthy Volume mascara missed the mark.  I am now on a hunt to find a better mascara.
