I LOVE my Nesco Roaster Oven. I still have many things to try in it but I LOVE doing soups, chicken and vegetables, chili, etc. Great to throw everything in and go about doing other things as your meal cooks! I had always thought about getting one when I saw it featured on a home shopping channel but I never did. A couple years ago I decided to buy one shortly before Christmas. It is GREAT to use during the holidays and any other time. Do not ever want to be without my Nesco!

I received this as a christmas gift from my grandmother. I already had a slow cooker and never really used a roaster. It sat for almost 2 years but when my old slow cooker pot cracked I decided to give it a go. I am seriously in love with it. It has a slow cooker setting that I use most of the time, but I can also use it just like my oven. It cleans up super easy because it has a nonstick pot. Everyone in my family has one and we all love them. My sisters oven broke and she used it to make cakes and cookies. It is seriously amazing.

We have several sizes of Nesco Roaster ovens, including an extra large one that we use every year to cook our Thanksgiving turkey in. This 6 Quart size is excellent for everyday cooking, because it is a convenient size and fits in a small space on your countertop. I've used this to make chilis, stews, roasts, ribs, cornish hens, roasted veggies and even cookies! I love the roaster oven, because you don't have to heat up your house in the summer...and if you want, you can even put it outside! It cooks everything evenly and faster than your regular oven, plus, if you want, you can cook a whole meal in it at once! Clean up is fairly easy, too. The basin is non-stick, so you can wash it by hand in the sink or throw it in the dishwasher, like I do when I'm feeling lazy. These are fantastic for potlucks and parties, as well, because you can bring it with you with the food in it and just plug it in or keep food warm on your counter for buffet-style entertaining (my favorite kind!).

The Nesco Roaster is a handy little gadget to have around the house! Cooks FAST!  I like the item because it is very mobile and is not too expensive to own.  I have been using it now for three months and would reccommend it to any and all.  The item has a little LED indicator on it which seems to come in handy for me.  I also like how the lenth of the electrical cord is just long enough for me to use!  Overall a really great product, especially for people who live on their own like me.

It bakes...want to make a cake, lasagna, mac and cheese (the old fashion way)? Yes, it turns out great and really works nice in the summer time so you don't have to heat up the oven and and make the place even more HOT and still have a nice meal. Cooks: cheesy potatoes, chex mix, beef stew, Polish chop suey (so good) and much more. What you can cook in/on your stove you can make in this**  Nesco oven roaster**. Steams veggies, corn on the cob, clams etc. My husband's favorite is the slow cooker part. I at times feel I need a leash on my **Nesco Oven Roaster **with him.  He has a super easy dish he makes for work and they demand him to make it for every pot luck and I shall share this one with you...Bring on the Holiday's and you will be a hit. This one is so easy and prep time isn't much at all...are ya ready???  OK buy or make  meat balls (beef) about a pound, put them in you **Nesco Oven Roaster **, cook them up to either thaw or cook through.  When that is done you will need three cans of mushroom gravy and one can of French onion soup and let slow cook for a hour or two so all flavors get to know one another.  (We pre make this part the night before and put in the fridge over night).  Now you will also need a quart of white button mushrooms (don't soak in water to clean...take a damp cloth and wipe clean (if you clean mushrooms in water they are soaking up the water and the won't soak up your good soap flavors later).  In the AM take out the your **Nesco** inner liner, put into the heater section and add your mushrooms.  Take where you are headed or if at home put it on low and let it all heat up and watch everyone peek to see where the best smell is coming from.  I also make this with just mushrooms and the same soups count...everyone goes nuts over this. I have to remind my husband if he doesn't bring home my **Nesco Oven Roaster **he will be hurt. This is my most favorite cooking toy I have in my kitchen. Oh, you can also buy inserts for this **Nesco**...Three compartments to keep different foods warm.  My sister in law uses her inserts in the summer time to keep brats, hot dogs and hamburgers warm in three different sections.
