I purchased this upon recommendation of a friend (for white willow in general) to help decrease some of the regular pain I experience and be an herbal substitute for tylenol/ibuprofen. While it is good for minor pains (like a slight headache or slight muscle tension), I wouldn't recommend it for more moderate-severe pains. It does take the edge off a little like ibuprofen does, but you'd have to take a considerable amount to get a serious effect, moreso than is probably recommended on the directions. If you're looking to switch to herbal remedies for various ailments, it's a good solution - otherwise, ibuprofen works just as well.
