However, one of the loves of my life does need this product and is benefiting from using, **Nature's Way Primadophilus OPTIMA** for his diverticular disorder. **Warning, please do not take this product for a medical condition, until you first talk to your doctor about this supplement.** My love had for the past two years symptoms of nausea, vomiting, gas, bloating, constipation alternating with diarrhea. This acidophilus product is being taken to boost his levels of "friendly bacteria" in the gut, as a means of replenishing beneficial intestinal microorganisms that diarrhea flushes out of his body, which, is in the long-run meant to improve his bowel health. **Nature's Way **has several **Primadophilus **products on the market. One difference between these products is the true potency of the probiotic; ie 10 bacterial strain formula versus a 14 bacterial strain formula, or 5-10 billion versus 35 billion therapeutic organisms (CFU's). **Nature's Way** claims **Primodophilus OPTIMA **provides a broad diversity of strains commonly found in the human digestive tract; also, it is said, each strain is said to provide its own unique benefits. To protect the potency of this product you must keep it refrigerated. Also, it is said to be designed to meet the needs of all ages. The list of supplemental facts is lengthy,so read the facts ...... again, i**f you or a loved one have a medical condition, talk to your doctor before taking this supplement.** This is our second bottle of this product, and I only purchased it initially because of it's potency, 35 billion CFU's  (colony forming units). This second bottle is because my husband says, `it's worth the price, it works.' My husband rates it 4-STARS because, `it hasn't cured me, totally', he says.
