I cant believe I just recently discovered Nature's Gate. Love it that it has not sulfates, is organic, and love the smell of it. Leaves my hair really soft, detangles and holds moisture for a long time. Only thing I don't like is that it requires a lot of product to wash just half my head but still, its the only brand I use from now on.

I bought this product mainly because I wanted to use a conditioner that was produced without testing on animals. I took a chance on this product and was pleasantly surprised that it worked as well or better than other standard conditioners. Since I have long, dry hair prone to split ends, I need a moisturizing conditioner and although this product does not claim to help split ends, I found that it helped mine. I do need to use a lot of it to cover the amount of hair I have and it seemed to me that it didn't go as far as standard conditioners but the fact that it worked better for me over-rode the problem of having to use more. The scent is light, clean and pleasing, I did not have a problem with it, as a person with allergies.

I like the Nature's Gate brand and their natural body products, because I want to avoid as many chemicals as possible when it comes to body care. This Hemp Nourishing Conditioner is supposed to help smooth and moisturize hair, while reducing frizz. I think it does work; I have tried using this conditioner with and without the companion shampoo, and results seem to be a little better with the shampoo. It smells pleasant, very similar to how the shampoo smells, and the smell does linger in your hair afterward. I use a variety of products to control my frizz problem but this conditioner/shampoo combination does at least make my hair very soft and it also helps control breakage. This conditioner is chock full of natural plant extracts like milk thistle and brazil nut oil, and it contains no Sodium Laurel/Laureth Sulfide, which is a major plus in my book. It has a nice texture, doesn't leave an oily residue, and washes out no problem.
