I seemed to be losing a lot of hair in the shower and had read that phosphate increased hair loss. For that reason, I was trying several different products when I first came across Nature's Gate Biotin Strengthening products at my local health food store. I was looking for phosphate-free, natural hair products and Nature's Gate was reasonably priced at the health food store. Nature's Gate Biotin Strengthening products have a pleasant scent. I have dry, color-treated hair that fights frizz and fly-aways. My scalp and hair felt clean and moisturized with continued use AND THERE WAS LESS HAIR IN THE SHOWER DRAIN!! Nature's Gate Biotin Strengthening products seemed to tame some of the frizz and fly-aways. but did not completely do away with them. I have yet to find a product that tames my frizzy, curly hair completely. I've been very pleased with this product and highly recommend it.

I bought this stuff because it and it's partner conditioner were free of alcohol and other bad things that are so common in most shampoos and conditioners. It smells nice enough, and lathered up very nicely with only a small amount. I appreciate that, as I often find that some shampoos seem to require using a whole lot to get enough lather for my whole head of hair. The smell was okay, I didn't find it intoxicating or anything like that. I did feel like it dried my hair out a bit, and because of this I found that I used up the conditioner WAYYY before I used up the shampoo. Now, it is normal to use up the conditioner before the shampoo, but I am talking 2 weeks of difference - clearly my hair was being dried out a bit. Effectiveness Cleans my hair for sure - the main goal of a shampoo is completed here ! Scent The kind I got had a bit of a peppermint scent, and I did like it. I have liked other smells far better.

This is what I would consider a so-so shampoo. I was looking for a vegan hair shampoo that would strengthen my hair because for unknown reasons I was developing mild hair loss issues. The products description of 7 essential amino acids looked good and I went with it thinking it would help my hair. I think it did somewhat. My hair certainly wasn't falling out at a rate any worse. It made my hair softer and more curly out of the shower, but not necessarily too much stronger in my opinion. I used this for a LONG time, hoping I'd see some exponential results, but nothing of that scale. This stuff certainly smells nice though and it's a decent price compared to other vegan shampoos on the market. I even tried multiple varieties of this brand and they all did roughly about the same thing. I have switched to dessert essence shampoos though and haven't looked back. My hair problems stopped with dessert essence.

I am very fussy about what I put on my hair and scalp. I don't want to use anything   that is going to make my hair fall out or my scalp sore because of harsh chemicals. With Natures Gate, I don't have to worry about that because all the ingredients are natural and healthy for my hair. After using Natures Gate Biotin Stregthening Shampoo, I can see and feel the difference in my hair. Natures Gate makes great rinses too. I have used Natures Gate hair products more than any other brand over the years. People have given me other products to try but I always come back to Natures Gate because they are the best. The Natures Gate Products with fragrances(they make them without too), are not at all offensive.  They are made with natural essences instead of chemical fragrance.Natures Gate products are reasonably priced too, so why buy anything else?

My Hair Is Healthy Again!! Biotin Strengthening Shampoo is great for damaged Hair! The combination of Vitamins and Amino Acids works great with making your hair healthy and shinny. The First time I used the shampoo I was skeptical. My mother told me how great it was, and how the texture of her hair was changing. So I tried it, I was actually surprised that my hair felt softer and looked shinier. I use the shampoo on my kid's hair as well, and their hair has become softer and more manageable. I even noticed that my hair doesn't come out as much. Its thicker and less damaged...but the key I found for the maximum results is to use the conditioner as well. I see that it works better and faster when I use the conditioner, it's like having double the power!
