This product looks gorgeous in the packaging, and the colors are amazing. However it is absolutely useless. In each well of this palette is a cheap cream eye shadow, covered with a layer of beautiful looking glitter. Once you rub off that pretty top layer, you'll see that it's filled with just extremely low quality shimmery cream. It works about as well as children's play makeup, it just smudges on, clumps, sits in your crease, and provides little to no color or pigmentation. It's messy and greasy and you really can't wear it at all.

I had a feeling this was a bad idea when I first tried to use one of my brushes with this and I saw that the glitter and color was only a very thin layer on the top. Under that is a clear and colorless 'base' that is more or less just a gooey substance that is extremely oily and will settle in your eyelid creases and smear very badly. Don't bother trying to layer these; if you can even get any color at all onto your lids with this it's going to be sticky and slick and trying to put more eyeshadow on top of it will end up in gross clumps of shadow that rubs and flakes off in chunks and leaves a mess everywhere. I even tried this as a glittery sealer over my other eyeshadow and ended up in worse shape when it pulled large areas of my eyeshadow off and gummed the rest of it up. Easy to remove from my eyelids since it was mostly just Vaseline with some glitter thrown on it, but it was horrible to clean out of my eyelashes and kept them sticky long after I was done fighting with this horrible eyeshadow.

Normally, I don't like to give products that are so unique such bad reviews since there aren't many like them on the market, however, this product as great as it seems in theory it really does fail when it comes to practice! I bought this at ulta and it looks absolutely gorgeous, the colors, the consistency, and the price! It's a great tool to have for girls who want to dazzle up an ordinary eye look. However, the hard thing about this is that it is a PAIN to apply. When I swatched it on my arm, the swatch was ok a little patchy but it glided on, but took some effort to evently distribute. But once it was on my eye, it was awful to work with! It wouldn't blend, it would dry quickly and had a tacky feel, some spots were tacky still because they didn't dry so I coudn't work with it. The glitter was patchy since it stuck to some parts of my eyelid but not others, and the worst part? It moved my perfectly done eyeshadow!! So sad, but so much disappointment in this product. I think if you want to wear it, apply primer and spend a lot of time just applying the product over the eye (without eyeshadow) then you have the sparkle, otherwise its such a pain to apply and to remove.
