Not my favorite

I like a plain, moisturizing lip balm. I prefer one with sunscreen but I don't like the way it makes your lips tingle, and I don't like the way that it tastes if it accidentally gets into your mouth, so I decided to try this product. I like the way it smells, I like that it doesn't have any color, but I feel that compared to other products that I've tried, it's really not the greatest. It feels okay going on, but I feel like I have to put it on constantly! I also don't feel like it actually does anything to my lips. They are still chapped, they still bleed, I think it's just something that just sits on my lips and then it's gone. I don't think I will be buying this again, I think I will go back to using the plain chapstick. I was really excited that this was going to help my lips and that it wasn't going to have that really unpleasant smell that a lot of the plain, high-powered products usually have. It's fine for summer, to just make your lips shiny for a little while, but I really don't feel like this product helps improve your lips in any way.

Just trying and love this stuff

So I had a chemical burn and used aveeno oatmeal bath. But I needed more I wanted to keep my skin from getting dry. I know this is lip palm. But I put it over my hands were the burns were and used it on smaller areas of concern too. Well and of course my lips. And within two weeks my lips and hands became soft and so Moisturized . I use it on my little girl lips too. It's so natural and the smell is so clean and pure. The honey smell is not too much. And leaving my lips soft and knowing its honey and milk I'm all for buying more than one tube. It was just something I was trying and I love going to the store looking for new products that's more natural and really works. My little girl like putting it on and knowing the natural ingredients I let her use it I can kiss my newborn also without worrying about the palm. I smell the honey on his skin. And it also softens his little skin more. This stuff is the real deal. And I tired all kinds of lip gloss, palms and nothing tops this product. Wish it was a body wash and hair product like this. From this brand. Lol

Provides some relief for Extremely Chapped Lips

4

I normally do not like wearing any type of lip gloss, but this one works okay. Whenever my lips are chapped, I have a bad habit of peeling them, but after I apply the lip balm, it stings a little, (very little, since I peeled my lips), but within 30 minutes, it feels alright. What I do not like about this lip balm is that it does not last long. Within 30 minutes, there is still about half of the gloss that is on my lips and within 45 minutes, I need to apply a new coat on. I like the flavor, but the milk flavor is more than the honey, making the honey aroma a little less, but its still works! I also like the way how it opens like lipstick, and not like a conventional lip balm.

not what I was expecting

I love milk and honey hand soap and lotion products, and I also LOVE the nivea lip balm, so when I saw the milk and honey Nivea lip balm I thought it was going to be a match made in heaven, that was not the case. Most nivea lip balm glides and smooth and silky feeling, the milk and honey version it thicker and a bit more sticky. Also I really do not enjoy the smell at all. I can't really find the words to describe the smell, but not good considering how closely it sits to my nose! Now on the plus side this product did leave my lips smooth after using it, but I would still prefer any of their other lip balm products over this one. I ended up throwing it out after about a week, which really ways something because I pinch my pennies and try very ahrd not to waste, but I just couldn't use this product again.

Holy Grail Honey Balm

5

This is my Holy Grail for lip balms. I have gone through countless tubes, jars and pots of balm, looking for the one product thats moisturizes and protects during the cold, windy winters. The Nivea Lip Care Milk and Honey Balm is the best lip balm I have ever used and the only one I have ever repurchased. Literally, the only balm I have ever bought more than once. I prefer this Milk and Honey Balm (yellow tube) over the original Kiss of Moisture (blue tube). This balm is an effective moisturizer that penetrates the lips yet leaves a lightly sticky layer of protection. I attribute the slight stickiness to the honey. I actually like that the formula has some tackiness so it sticks around. I do not have to reapply frequently. The balm is very long lasting. The scent is pleasantly light and only temporary. There is no taste or flavor. The finish is a really natural sheen. Like Nivea says, this is soothing Lip Care.

I Really Love My NIVEA Lip Care Milk & Honey!

I received the NIVEA Lip Care Milk And Honey Balm as a gift from a family member. I really like it! The first thing that I like is how the packaging is really easy. It's very unique too. The packaging sort of reminds me of some type of glue stick. I really like it though. It's easy to twist the product up and down. Also, I like how this product is so soft. It goes on my lips really softly. This lip balm is really creamy and smooth. Next, I love how moisturizing this is! It's been working great on my lips this winter. I also like how this smells good. It has a really good scent. I'm not sure how to explain what it smells like, but I really like it. One thing I don't like is that there is no SPF. I always buy lip balms that have SPF in them, since I am outside a lot. Since this was a gift, I got a lip balm with no SPF. It's alright though, I just won't be using this product in summer. All in all, I really like this lip balm. It's great!

Nivea Kiss of Milk & Honey is GREAT

I do not at ALL care for Burts Bees products. I find them heavy and overly waxy and not at all like the beeswax lip balm I used to get from my local-ish beekeeper at the farmer's market in the "good 'ol days". So I was pretty skeptical when I picked this up, but it was on sale, so I figured what the heck. I am SO glad I did! I have a cold, so my lips are SOOOOOO dry right now, and this stuff is really helping keep me comfortable! I don't do a lot of outdoors stuff, so the lack of SPF doesn't bother me as much as it might other people, but it should be kept in mind. I'm not too sure why the other reviewer tagged it "Not for extremely dry lips" but I'm liking it lots :o)

Nivea Bathes My Lips in Milk and Honey

4

Just when I thought I'd tried out every available lip balm at the drugstore, I came across **Nivea Lip Care Milk & Honey**. I'm a big fan of Nivea lip balms in general, so I was confident that I'd be just as happy with this version. And I was. Nivea Milk and Honey is made with -- you guessed it -- milk and honey extracts. These two ingredients help my lips feel softened, moisturized and nourished. The honey-colored, honey-scented lip balm has a creamy texture that stays put on lips. However, it's not a "flavored" lip balm so don't expect a tasty treat if you happen to lick your lips. And although the texture is creamy, it isn't at all greasy or runny. This particular balm does not contain SPF sun protection, so I wouldn't use it for extended time outdoors. That's the only reason I can't give this five stars. It's effective in keeping my lips smooth and soft on a daily basis, and I don't have to keep reapplying through the day. Overall, I think Nivea has another winner with **Nivea Milk and Honey Lip Balm**. I happily recommend it.
