I signed up for My Bargain Buddy in order to hear about savings opportunities and since have discovered that it's not nearly as useful as I had hoped it would be. The tips are okay, but seem more for a beginner that was just starting out with trying to succeed with saving money and finding sales. I'm not saying its horrible. There have been a couple things that I've gained from signing up but, there are definitely better sources out there for tips and deals. Ease of Use Its a little busy and confusing to navigate at first but other than that it's not horrible to use. I just wish they had a little better deals and tips included on the website and in the newsletters. Customer Service I had to contact customer service about why I wasn't getting email newsletters from them, it was kind of a hassle. So I can't say that they have the best customer service. Shipping and Returns No shipping and returns through them , because I've never actually ordered anything from them other than getting the emails from them which I what I signed up for.

I recently became aware of MyBargainBuddy.com through online reviews. The reviews were mostly positive and so I was willing to try this website over the holidays to help me save money on my gift purchases. Sadly, this website was far inferior to some of my preferred deal websites such as Slickdeals.net and RetailMeNot. These are among the gold standard and sadly MyBargainBuddy was a poor imitation. The actual deals are few and far between and most of the deals are for categories I have no real interest in buying online such as jewelry and shoes. I was also disappointed by the search feature. It seemed that most of the coupons or deals for stores that I was looking for deals from were all very outdated and expired. A good example of this is a search for Barnes & Noble yielded a most recent result from July 2012. I was hoping this would be a great resource to help me save money but in the end it was more of a time waster. I was unable to find any good deals and quickly ended up giving up using this website. This is a shame as I am always open to using more money saving websites.

It seems like a lot of these online deal sites have popped up in the last few years. MyBargainBuddy.com is a pretty great one! I love shopping, especially online and I definitely love getting great deals. I always try to shop around and find the best price before purchasing anything. The writers at MyBargainBuddy.com do a lot of the leg work for shoppers like me. They have so many great deals listed and they update the site regularly so each day you can go back and see what cool items are discounted! This is definitely a must see site if you're planning to shop online for the holidays. Getting great gifts for the people you love is fun, but getting great gifts for even better prices? Well that's super awesome! They have a free email news letter so you can easily stay up to date on all the discounted offers. I still use my other stand by sites like Retail Me Not and Coupon Cabin, but MyBargainBuddy.com is a nice money saving site in my arsenal!

There are actually a few good bargins from time to time and I'm pleased at times. You do actually get a significant amount of savings from the retail price, however I do wish that they would stop featuring jewerly as their main type of bargain. This is because the value of jewerly is so subjective and that they can list a super high manufacturer suggested retail price in the realm of the thousands and then price that to be 49.99. Thus making this deal to be an absolute steal of the deal, when it is really just a manipulation of the price. You can't verify the quality of the actual product without seeing it off hand and so I would like to see less of these deals and more real deals where I can actually verify the price savings. Other than that, sometimes when they have tooth brushes on sale, you can actually look up the model and see whether or not it is actually a deal. I like more of these type of deals to be featured on their website, when you have other merchants selling the same item so you can compare.

I receive them usually on Monday, Wednesday and Friday with an additional "Hot Deal Alert" newsletter on a random day during the week. I am not quite sure if my sister signed me up to receive this newsletter or if it just found its way into my inbox on its own. Her website has a lot of helpful information and features for shoppers. Not only will you find the latest online deals at this website but you will also find new coupon codes, a deal blog, and great forum with topics like "Online Bargains," "Freebies," "Rebates," and "Online Coupons." ***My Experience*** When I received the first newsletter from Bargain Buddy, I was immediately drawn to it because of all the great deals with pictures and handy links running straight down the middle of the page. To the left of it are coupon codes, most popular deals, sweepstakes and quick links to the Deal Blog, Coupons for All Stores, New Coupons, Expiring Coupons, Giveaways, Forums and more. I have ordered from several items from the direct links to these deals and have loved everything I have purchased. I only had one issue with a coupon code not working but I wrote Karen Hoxmeier and she immediately responded, apologized and corrected the code on the site. My Bargain Buddy has a daily email that is awesome.  Everyday there are different deals of the day.  Some are really incredible values.  There is a daily giveaway you can sign up for as well.  Feedback is always welcome, a forum link is on the page so you can get other opinions as well.  I check the emails and website every day especially while working on holiday shopping.  Even if you have found what you will be purchasing on another site definitely check Mybargainbuddy.com to see if the store you are purchasing from has a coupon.  It is worth checking out if you want some great bargains.
