I use a bread maker at home and love it. I recommended the idea of a bread maker at my job for use by our patients. This machine makes lousy bread. It comes out under or over cooked with each use. It is not user friendly. We may have bought a lemon, but we did not want to buy one just like it to see if there was any difference. We tried to return it, but we waited too long and were told sorry by the folks at Target. We tried white, wheat, and sourdough with lousy results each time. I with all honesty do not recommend this bread maker made by Mr. Coffee. we have since bought a different machine and are very happy with our new machine. Stability While in Use This machine has a wide base and feels stable while in use. I have no complaints about its stability. Performance No matter how we use it, it makes terrible breads. We have tried the pre-packaged breads and it has not made a difference. Ease of Use It is easy to use, but with the bread it makes we do not use it anymore.

I use my Mr. Coffee Bread Maker two or three times a week. It has the capacity to make 1, 1 1/2 or 2 lb loaves of bread. This unit has 9 settings based on the type of dough or size of bread as well as a delayed start. The Bread Maker can make bread from scratch or from a box mix. First the complaints: I have to dig the paddle out of my dough every single time. Not a big complaint, but just a minor annoyance. It does have a tendency to try to "walk" itself off my counter. I started shimming up the front right leg, though, and it helps a lot. I guess it's just off-balance. Now the good: It is very easy to use, as you just program it and then just go do other things. Lately I have been using it just for the mixing, kneading, and first rise. I discovered there is a setting just for that. Then I take the dough out and let it have a second rise in my breadpans, and I bake it in the oven. This way I get the shape I want, and I don't kill my arms and hands kneading it forever! I love my Mr. Coffee Bread Maker, and wouldn't hesitate to buy another if I needed to. But I've had this one for years, and it hasn't let me down yet!! Stability While in Use I had to shim up the right front leg when it started trying to "walk" off the counter Ease of Use Just program it and go! Durability I've had it for years, and it shows no signs of stopping!

My Mr. Coffee Bread Maker BMR 200 gets used once or twice a year for the past 15 plus years. It has the capacity to make 1, 1 1/2 or 2 lb loaves of bread. This unit has 9 settings based on the type of dough or size of bread as well as a delayed start. The Bread Maker can make bread from scratch or from a box mix. The unit is quite large, while the actual bread pan is less than 1/2 the size of the unit. It works on standard household electric current. When I first used this machine, the loaves of bread I cooked rose so much it nearly touched the cover. Over time my loaves stopped expanding. I wasn't sure if it was the yeast (several packets were past use by date) or just the unit getting tired. The instruction book was long ago lost, but I was able to find the owners manual on line and tried making a loaf from a mix again the other day.  Once again there was issue of the loaf not rising. The other issue I've had is with the mixing paddle. Although I like the ease of cleaning the loaf pan because the mixing paddle pulls out, almost every loaf has had the issue of the paddle baking in the loaf and having to dig it out.

I just love this breadmaker.   It is very easy to use and makes a perfect loaf of bread.  You just program it and then just let it go.   You can go about doing other things while your bread bakes.    The smell of fresh baked bread fills your house.   The only thing is that it has an odd shape with a hole in the end.    The fresh comes out soft on the inside and crispy on the outside.   You can pick up a box of bread mix at your local grocery store or you can make your own.  Either way it is the most delicious bread you ever tasted.  Almost as good as Grandma used to make.   I use my bread machine alot and couldnt live without it.  You can even make gluten free breads in this machine.   Just make sure you put the ingredients in the right order.    My family just loves eating homemade bread.   A great change from the store bought breads.  This machine can even make pizza dough in it.   I highly recommend Mr. Coffee Breadmaker to anyone out there who loves homemade breads.
