Mr. Clean household cleaning products have always been my go to choice, and this mop is no exception. It cleans a million times better than any other mop I've ever used before. My only complaint, although it is a somewhat significant complaint, is that the sponge tears entirely too easily. Nevertheless, I will always continue to use this product. It is the best of its kind, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a simple solution for their dirty floors. The fact that the sponge tears easily, although inconvenient, should be no reason to stop you from purchasing this mop. For example, I frequently have two to five year olds running through my tiny apartment. You can only imagine the stains left on my beautiful floors-- stains that I once thought nothing could remove! However, this mop entirely surpassed my expectations of it and not only removed all stains from my floors, but restored the natural color as well. That's something you just don't get with a regular mop.

I had a huge party to go to on Halloween. Imagine little kids, pets, adults, and a huge hullaballoo at your favorite cousin's house. Now imagine all those people left and you are left with my cousin, your cousin's husband, your fiancee, and a HUGE mess to clean up. Who do you call? This mop for one. I didn't have my favorite, trusty mop with me or I would've used that one. But this one did the trick. The four of us split up tasks and I took the kitchen and dining area. It was a disaster and there were some random spills and drips all over the floor (seriously people, can't you clean up after the drink you spilled?!). This mop did the trick though. The spills were fairly new so I don't know how this mop would have worked on spills that were older and tougher to get out. But I can assure you that the floor cleaned up easily and this mop more than held up. All in all, I was impressed, especially because I am so biased with products that I use in my own house. But this Mr. Clean product worked - I guess the big bald guy on the product does know what he's doing. If I ever have another party to clean up at, I won't mind using this mop again.

I give this product a two only because I didn't waste a large amount of my money on it so I don't feel as bad about how poorly this Mr. Clean Deluxe Sponge Mop with Scrubber Strip actually works. It was the worse home cleaning product I have ever bought. But after the fact, looking at the product I was asking myself what I must have been thinking to believe this thing would actually work. I could do better just spray down the floor then sliding a towel across it with a towel. That method works much better than this piece of junk. And to make matters worse, the sponge doesn't even seem to absorb anything, it just pushes dirt and wetness around and makes muddy puddles on the floor. And it is also extremely hard to wring out. This mop or sponge on a stick really gives Mr. Clean a bad image. They should consider discontinuing it and putting a little bit more of creative thinking into designing their next product.

I owned this product two years back and it did not last even for 5 months. It is almost double the price of other mops but is not at all useful. It was really troublesome to use this cleaner as all the dirt used to remain as it is and the wet water on the floor used to remain as it is till I had to change this mop with another brand. The store from where I purchased it claimed that this mop is very good butt his product failed me completely. Mr. Clean is a good brand but the product does not prove right and is poor in quality. The sponge is so bad I absorbing dirt from the floor and better than this sponge, cloths are better. The product is just too expensive and I could have bought two mops of another brand instead of this one. I wish I had read the reviews of this mop online before purchasing this one and saved my money. I own other products of Mr. Clean which work fine but the mop is just a waste. I do not recommend this product.

I'm a huge fan of Mr. Clean products, especially the magic eraser. So when I heard about the Mr. Clean Deluxe Sponge Mop with Scrubber Strip I knew I had to get one to try out. I've been on a mad search for the perfect mop. Unfortunately the Mr. Clean Deluxe Sponge Mop isn't the perfect mop. I actually don't see any difference between this mop and any other old school mop. You use it on the floor then pull a lever to rinse out the dirty water. Though you can replace the bottom of the mop, it's not a cheap thing to do and I've had a hard time finding the replacements. No new ideas here, nothing revolutionary as far as a mop is concerned. Quite a disappointment really. For the price I think you are paying for the Mr. Clean brand name. You certainly aren't paying for a great mop. I can't in good faith recommend this product to anyone. You can buy the exact same thing for less than half the price.

I went over to a friend's house to help her clean before she moved. She had the Mr. Clean Deluxe Sponge Mop for her floors. This mop was something she picked up because it was inexpensive and she was familiar with Mr. Clean (who doesn't love Mr Clean magic erasers). The mop lasted about an hour. It kept falling apart as we would use it to clean the floors. Pieces of the mop would break off, and we would spend extra time picking up the pieces. It did not do an effective job of cleaning the floor, as it left the floor even more of a mess. It was very frustrating. We had to resort to using a different method to getting her floors and tile clean. Even though the mop is cheap, it is not worth the deal. Other Mr. Clean products are very wonderful, but from my experience with this product and from other reviewers, this is not a product that is truly representative of the Mr. Clean name. I would not recommend it.

Do not waste your money, they really suck, suck, suck. I had no problem with the yellow replaceable heads but the blue ones will not stay on once they get wet. I have went through so many mop heads and its just a waste of money, my hard earned money. I have not been able to find the yellow ones so I had to resort to the blue ones I even thought that maybe if I bought another mop brand new they would stay on but no, I go to rinse it in the bucket and it falls off! everytime!!!! Do you like putting your hands in a nasty bucket of water to retrieve a mop head? Very substandard I will not be buying again.

We have purchased every kind of Mr. Clean mop that you can buy in the stores and they all suck! Every single one has tore up the very first time that we have used them! This product is the worst product that we have ever purchased although their cleaning chemicals are good their cleaning merchandise is horrible! Do not buy anything that is Mr. Clean unless it is Chemical

Sorry folks but I cannot think ofm one positive thing to say about the Mr. Clean Deluxe Sponge Mop with Scrubber Strip. Mr. Clean should have stuck to making just liquid cleaners. Their liquid cleaners work great. THis mop does not. It is inexpensive but it isn't even worth the cheap priceThe Mr. Clean Deluxe Sponge Mop with Scrubber Strip is not durable at all. It is a cheaply made product.The sponge is made up of a very low grade cellulose fiber. To begin with sponges are absolutely disgusting as they inhibit all sorts of germs, especially viruses and bacteria.There is nothing sanitary about a sponge. The scrubber strip is not effective at all..It falls off easily. The sponge desintigrates in no time at all. I was very disappointed in this product. The mop doesn't perform well at cleaning either. It pushes more dirt around than anything else. Take my advise and save your money. I do not recommend this product.

I purchased this mop because the price was right and I trust in Mr Clean brands, however, it just doesn't do the job. I'm not exactly certain of where they went wrong here, perhaps it just isn't as absorbant as other mops I have used. It does not rub the tile floor very well and I spend most of my time using the scrub side to get things really clean, but sometimes that still doesn't do the trick. I think the sponge is too wide and just too large. It doesn't seem to have enough ridges to get a real deep clean. It feels like this sponge only spreads things around. After mopping, be prepared to wait a long time for your floors to dry. As I said, it doesn't absorb well and it leaves the floors really wet. I usually need to use a towel to dry the floor after using this mop because it just leaves too much water. The price is good, and the availablility of refills is great, but I think I prefer other mops because this one requires extra work to get it to clean right.
