Very good!

5

I love this energy drink. I have been drinking monsters for about 5 years. I started drinking them after i had my baby. I needed something to keep me awake without drinking a lot of calories. I tried this one and loved it. It has the caffeine i need and the carbonation i love. THe taste is very good and not too sugary. I do not feel a drop afterwards or feel when it wears off. I have tried other energy drinks and other flavors from Monster but this is by far the best one and the most effectiveness. I love that it has zero calories. I also use it before i head to the gym and i can notice a difference on my energy levels. I will usually burn more calories when i drink this before the gym. Its more then likely due to the energy and harder workout. This is the only energy drink i will drink. I never feel jittery after and it makes me feel good without having to feel full or having to drink a lot of calories.

Most Like a Soda, with a Moderate Kick

I drink energy drinks for a variety of reasons, and a good amount of the time, I'll choose Monster Lo-Carb. I'm in shape, and active -- I practice yoga every day, run 3-5 times a week, participate in sports whenever possible. Living in the city I walk a lot, and suddenly things like going to the grocery store gets a little aerobic! That being said, I think the best way to get a real energy boost is eating healthily and exercising regularly. But I'm not a health nut! I need my caffeine to make it through the week. I use energy drinks when A.) I'm totally done, and doubt my ability to keep my eyes open for another hour [at 4pm], or B.) When I need something a little refreshing, that'll pep me up and help ground my focus and energy. Monster Lo-Carb's my choice for situation B. There are definitely more powerful energy drinks out there, especially per volume. But I think Monster's the best tasting, most refreshing, and still has a noticeable affect on my mood and energy. It's not a fix for everything -- you can't drink it all day, you shouldn't drink it every day. But I think it offers a gentle support, especially when combined with a healthy lifestyle.

Arguably better than the original!

When in need of a late night or mid day boost, many of us turn to energy drinks. Monster is a personal favorite of mine, and I can safely assure you it has been months since I have purchased an original flavor. How can you argue with the same energy benefits AND low carb and next to no sugar. Simple, you can't.

Does not compare to Monster Green Label

I have to admit the taste is pretty good but this lo-carb monster does not compare with the original green label. I have tried this a couple of times and it really does not do anything for me. The price is about the same for this product compared to the other Monster products that are availiable.

Gives me anough energy to get through the day

This product is great.  I love monster energy drinks because they give me the energy i need to get through a tough day at work.  Now this low carb drink provides the same amount of energy but without all those carbs.  Its the same great taste and the same effect just better for you!  I love energy drinks but it seems like they are not that healthy for you so its good to see monster is looking to give you the total package.  They hit the nail on the head with this drink.  I choose this product over redbull anyday of the week.

By far, the best tasting energy drink out there.

I am an energy drink and caffiene junkie. I opt for the sugar free or low carb options whenever possible. By far, my favorite one is the Blue Monster. It tastes way better than the others, which I think mostly taste like poison. The energy boost it provides is ample as well.

Refreshing and Delicious Even Though it's Low-Cal!

I've been a fan of Monster Energy Drinks for quite some time, but the regular version is LOADED with calories and sugar. I switched to **Monster Lo-Carb** in the hopes that I could still enjoy the great taste without the added calories. Thankfully, I can! The taste is still very similar to the full-carb Monster, with only a slight difference in the aftertaste. Honestly, it's not a big enough difference to me that it affects my overall enjoyment of the product. In my opinion, the two taste very similar, but I'm eliminating a bunch of excess calories and sugar by drinking the lower-carb version. Although I know that energy drinks are probably not the healthiest thing for you, I limit myself to a can per week. I figure I should be able to indulge now and then, and if I'm drinking a low-cal beverage then that's even better! As far as how much energy I derive from **Monster Lo-Carb**, I can't say it lasts all day. I do feel slightly more upbeat with one of these in my system, and I can typically stay awake and concentrate for a few hours longer than if I didn't have one. The crash kills me though and I am left feeling more exhausted than I did before the caffeine hit my system! Overall, I'm definitely happy with **Monster Lo-Carb Energy Drink** and will always reach for one of these when I am in the mood for a refreshing beverage or a jolt of energy.

Taste like heaven

I would say that Monster Lo-Carb Energy Drink is one of the, if not the best energy drinks around. It is somewhat healthy and gives you a kick of energy when you drink it. Even though it has all of those great atributes to it it doesnt give you lasting energy it causes you to crash after a couple of hours.

Good--but there are much better out there

Okay, monster is a great company, and I have enjoyed their drinks for a long time now.  But I have to admit that this drink is not their best.  I have never been a fan of low carbs.  That taste is dramatically affected, and the kick is altered.  Now, this would be okay if these factors were not too affected--but they are.  If you are too worried about the calories and carbs--honestly, either you should not be drinking energy drinks, or you should go on a run. This drink has a decent kick, but I am just pointing out that in no way does it measure up to the high standards that the other monster drinks have upholded.

This will keep you going all morning - and you won't be drinking your calories!

I started drinking regular the regular Monster Energy drinks a couple years ago until I realized that there were 26 grams of sugar per serving and 100 calories (and there are two servings in a can of monster!)  Forget the fact that sometimes stores only cary the XXL versions and that is THREE servings! I have to say that the taste of Monster is acquired - that is, you may not like it when you first try it.  However, if you are into energy drinks - like myself - you will already know that it's very difficult to find a GREAT tasting energy drink that isn't full of sugar or carbs. Lo-Carb Monster has a total of 10 calories per serving and 3 grams of sugar per serving.  So, if you were to drink the whole can (like everyone does) you would only get a total of 20 calories and 6 grams of sugar!  Plus, I really didn't notice a difference energy wise between the lo-carb and the regular monster. The only problem I have had is finding these in bulk.  They always offer the regular Monster - but not the lo-carb.
