Three years ago my husband and I moved into a new condo in a homeowners association. I am the secretary for our association, and we have one of these hand trucks as well as a wheel barrow and ladder for the residents to use. This hand truck is worth its weight in gold, I love it. It is just over four feet tall and holds up to 800 pounds. The two front tires are large, about 10" in diameter, and they are inflatable tires so they push smoothly and with ease. The other two tires are much smaller. There is a nice wide ledge for sliding heavy items onto. We have moved such items as: refrigerator, book shelves, a desk, large flower planters, and a couch. The hand truck can be used in the upright position, or you can lay it flat like a wagon and haul items in that manner. We always strap our items to the cart to be sure they don't fall off when moving them. Last summer I was in charge of a HOA garage sale, and we used this to move furniture from other units to our garage for the sale, and without it the tasks would have been nearly impossible and a ton more work. If you have room to store this in your garage, it is an extremely valuable tool to have.

I bought this hand truck second hand at a yard sale because I constantly have furniture or other heavy items I am moving from one place to another. The Milwaukee 2 way convertible hand truck is a life saver and a back saver as well. What makes this hand truck so special is that it also can convert to a flat four wheel cart which makes moving large bulky items simple as they can lay right on the cart. We have moved refrigerators, washers and dryers and furniture with this cart and numerous other smaller items. It is a lot easier than trying to carry them and a lot easier on your back as well. It is very durable and well made and can hold up to 800 pounds of weight. It has large tires so that when you are moving something the wheels do not get stuck in cracks or uneven surfaces as other hand trucks do with the small wheels. If you are moving or even if you just move a lot of heavy items at home or for work, this hand truck is a life saver. I recommend it!

I have moved many times in my life. So much so that I save boxes when I unpack them so that when I go to move again, I have boxes ready to go. When you move as many times as I do you get used to having to move really heavy boxes. One of the things I invested in to make my life easier was this hand truck. This one is a great size and feels really well made and sturdy. I can have a whole stack of boxes packed up and ready to go and this hand truck allows me scoop up under the whole stack and wheel them to the truck. I have banged it around move after move, and it has held up really well. It may not be the prettiest anymore, but who cares, I don't, I'm only using it to move boxes and furniture. Owning this hand truck has allowed me to save so much money from not having to rent one from moving or truck companies. I have been very happy that I decided to invest in my hand truck, it may not be something everyone needs to own, but if you move a lot, then you need one of these.

This is a great little handcart/truck/trolley whatever you like to call it in your neck of the woods. It is one of those gadgets that you can always find a use for, especially as it converts to a flat-bed style truck - a four wheel platform with a handle that slips into the tubular metal. That way, you can pile up items neatly, such as folding chairs, suitcases etc. and just roll them into your storage area and leave them on it till you need to roll them out again. The metal tubing in its frame is manufactured from tough steel and the wheels, 10", are shielded from the load scraping on them by wheelguards. Keep the tires pumped up well and you can drive this little beauty over rough terrain. Powder coated finish for smoothness and durability. You can use it one-handed (the handle is designed ergonomically with that in mind). Whether you want this for home use, a small business such as a moving business or just for hauling stuff, it's a great buy at a good price. I have two - one is in the platform position and the other vertical and they are an essential part of avoiding any back injuries when doing all that handy stuff. Years ago, these were a real luxury, but now - they are essential and priced accordingly.

We purchased the Milwaukee 800 pound capacity 2-way convertible hand truck when we moved into our new house. It was a quick purchase, but literally in the middle of the move, our other hand truck completely broke down and we didn't have the time or patience to try and fix it. So instead we did a quick review check literally in the car on the way to go buy one and I came across this one that looked stronger than the others and had good for reviews. It was very inexpensive which made me a little weary. So we got it and went back to start moving some stuff. Instantly I noticed how heavy it was. We had so much stuff to move and with how heavy it was, it made the job a little harder. I also found that the front wheels weren't great and when it was on the concrete it kept getting stuck. It doesn't really fold up like the ad tells you. I had to take mine apart by pieces. I still have it, but as a backup to a new one. I wasn't very satisfied.

I purchased this Milwaukee Hand truck because some renters had left things in the rental and I needed to clear out the items. There was some immediate positives I noticed about the Milwaukee hand truck. Firstly, it is very stable. The wheels are a good size for the amount of poundage capacity that the hand truck can accommodate. This is a real plus when you are petite such as myself and you are trying to move very heavy objects. The second plus I noticed is that the unit itself is not overly heavy. Therefore, despite its ability to carry heavy loads, it is not onerous to push the hand truck or maneuver it around into tight spaces, like closets. The third characteristics that I really liked was that when I was pushing it in the tilted upright position, it was relatively easy; but, when I was pushing it laying down and using all four wheels, it was still relatively easy. I have to say that is what really sold me on this hand truck!

I make a fair amount of crafts with my dad so to save our backs and time, we purchased one of these for traipsing items back and forth. Very easy to stack things on here, lean it back and go. I've found many more uses for it than just crafts. Getting ready for a garage sale, cleaning up the basement, or when my husband brings work home, he can fold this up in the back of his car, then use it to go back and forth carrying his big bulky files, especially if they're in boxes. I do wish the front wheels were a little stronger, but at least the tires aren't always deflating in this one like the last model we had years ago. I'm lucky because my dad can fix anything, so once in awhile he has to adjust the peg that is in the handle part, and sometimes I have to fuss a little with it when it's in the lock position, but over all, the quality of this is really good. I'm certain we'll have this for many years (unlike our last one). It's amazing how you don't realize you really needed something until you get it, considering all the ways we ended up using this. Oh, I will also traipse it out to haul gardening stuff back and forth if I don't have to go across the grass. Saves me a trip!
