I ordered a customized Christmas ornament on 11/30 and the last estimated delivery date given at the time of purchase was 12/13. On Monday, 12/10 I still had not received the tracking number showing it had shipped out. This was a gift for a Christmas party the evening of 12/13. I called them the morning of 12/10 and asked when it would be sent out. I was told since it was customized it takes longer to get it sent out. I explained that the delivery date said by 12/13 and that I needed the product. I was told that my order was in "pick" status which meant it would ship that day or the next. The rep told me that she would reach out to the shipping department and have the shipping changed to expedited and get it out ASAP. On 12/14, I still had not received a tracking number showing it had shipped so I called again. They had no record of them telling me they would expedite the shipping and get it in the mail. This time they told me that it would go out within 48 hours and that I would receive it by Christmas. I asked to speak with a manager because I am getting the same info that I was told 4 days prior. The Manager then tells me that there was an issue with their engraver and that is what the delay is and that is will for sure be arriving before Christmas. About an hour after getting off the phone that day, I received a tracking number. Today is 12/19 and the USPS tracking shows that they are still waiting to receive the package from Miles Kimbell. Basically, a label was created, but they do not have the package yet. I called again today (12/19) to find out why it still has not been sent. The person I spoke with tells me that she does not know where my package is at, but it will be arriving by Christmas. Not believing them at this point, I asked to speak to someone who can figure out where the package is at. I was put on hold for several minutes, then the same woman gets on the phone and says that her Manager said the item will not arrive by Christmas

When I need a gift and have no idea of what to buy I look to Miles Kimball. They have everything and I mean everything from small practical items to unique and unusual. This place is perfect for holiday or gift shopping but I love to just do some old fashion looking for ideas. Their service is outstanding. Starting with ordering and ending with delivery. Very seldom is something back ordered and they let me know in advance so I won't be disappointed. They are great to do business with and should you need to return an item it is no big deal however returns at any of these businesses can end up costing you as much as the items. I plan ahead and make a list so when they offer free shipping a couple of times a year that's when I do my ordering. Kimball does offer hard to find and unusual items. The shipping charges can be more or less depending on how you have it shipped, I have discovered that normal shipping gets it here in a reasonable amount of time and go that route. They do provide a tracking for your order so that helps you to know when it will arrive. I like this way of shopping.

I've been getting the paper catalog from this website for most of my life because my grandparents are on the mailing list. Now we go to the Miles Kimball website instead of waiting for the catalog. For my family, we find a lot of interesting products that my grandparents can use as well as lots of things for the rest of us. Shipping is always fast and easy and we always look forward to the package full of items for everyone in the house. We tend to buy a lot of the home related items such as unique storage solutions and fun and unexpected solutions to everyday household problems. We also tend to buy a lot of the health related solutions, like walker accessories and other products that help with accessibility issues. They always have new and original alternatives with accessories that really help with mobility and making it possible for my grandparents to be more mobile and independent. Somehow I ended up on the Miles Kimball mailing list because I seem to get their catalog so often. At any rate, I would find myself browsing through the catalog that features gadgets to help around the house, personal care items to help with a variety of medical needs, and even items for hobbies, crafts, and entertaining. Most of the items are so inexpensive that I've purchased a few things over the years. Some were worthless pieces of junk, but others were surprisingly helpful. The website is easy to navigate and the search function works pretty well. Sometimes, just browsing through a department helps you find the products that may go undetected by the search feature. Some of the good items I've gotten at Miles Kimball are things like: personalized handiwork labels (to sew onto my hand-made quilts), mailing labels, door draft stopper, mesh laundry bags and a few other items. Some of the misses were: wood furniture repair sticks, closet hanger organizers, a gold-plate repair solution, and a couple of others that have been discontinued. Overall, products from Miles Kimball tend to be a little hit-or-miss, so check out reviews carefully before making a purchase.

MilesKimball.com is a site that I never thought I would give a 10 to, but you simply can't beat the overall ease and value of getting a personalized gift especially for a child or tween. They have a lot of items and frankly, most of them aren't for me. However, the personalized section could not be easier or more effective. As an auntie of 10 young kids (under 12) I've learned that anything with their name on it is a HUGE HIT. Miles Kimball's website makes it so easy for me to buy a cute gift (think personalized piggy bank, step stool, ballet bag, puzzle, lunchbox) at a reasonable price. It's so simple. I just pick a cute gift and then add their name. I have ordered dozens and dozens of items and never had a problem with misspelling (even unique names) and the quality of the items is good. The kids are always thrilled with the gift (because it has their name!) and it's an easy go-to place to get my birthday and holiday shopping done. Highly suggest using this site. It does take a bit longer to ship (because it's personalized) so be sure to leave yourself some extra time before the gift-giving occasion.

As a child I loved to look through my grandparents' Miles Kimball catalog. The website is just as neat to browse through. One of the thinks they are most well known for is their personalized gifts. I have ordered a lovely compact mirror and pencils for my tutoring students. This year I ordered a box of personalized Christmas cards. The website was so easy to navigate and I was able to add all the personalization I wanted to the cards. The personalization was free and everyone complimented me on how lovely the cards were. Shipping and processing were quite reasonable and once you order from this company, they are always sending me notices about customer loyalty sales and discounts. Their return policy is easy to use and I felt very secure being on their website. Miles Kimball also has a nice array of old fashioned candies and treats that you cannot find in the stores.

I have ordered from the Miles Kimball company many times over the years and have never had a bad experience with them. I have ordered from their printed mail catalog many times in the past, and I have also ordered from their website online. Their prices are always reasonable, and their shipping is quick, and I have always been satisfied with their products and their service. Some of their products are quirky gifts or funny gifts that you may not be able to find elsewhere. It's a fun place to shop, because they have lots of unique products at reasonable prices. We bought some white metal wire pantry shelving from them recently and I was very pleased with that product. (It is an over the door hanging shelving system that I saw for sale on several different websites, but by doing some comparison shopping, I was able to find it at Miles Kimball for the lowest price.)

The website is fun and full of great gift ideas, items for your home, toys , and so much more. They have seasonal items as well for Christmas and other holidays and the selection is so large , you can always find something you want to order. I ordered a few items from this site before Christmas and they arrived on my doorstep very quickly. The website is easy to navigate with everything broken down into it's own categories. Novelties, toys, household items, clothing, jewelry, office supplies, holiday items...you name it, they probably have it! They have a large selection of "as seen on tv" items as well. The prices are very reasonable and they also have great sales! The site is very easy to navigate with tabs to click on that clearly tell you what category of items you will find there. They even have a site exclusive products section where you can browse items that you can only purchase from them. If you prefer a paper catalog, you can request one from them by filling out the form the provide. Shipping costs are based on order total and they are extremely reasonable. They even ship internationally! They accept payment in the form of credit card or paypal. I absolutely love this site and would recommend it to everyone!
