This controller is like an other orginal controller for the xbox 360. You will find that all the qualities are the same as the white xbox 360 controllers. The only downside to this controller is the wire that is attached. I feel it is extremely less hassle buying a wireless controller.

I never really thought that I would consider a wired controller over a wireless one, but this is honestly such an improvement from struggling with batteries or worrying about where your charge cable is mid-game. Not to mention that the wired controller is a cheaper solution than the wireless since it means not having to buy batteries or a charging cable/charging station. The only difference between a wired and wireless controller is literally the cable being attached to the controller. Whether it be wired or wireless, the Xbox 360 controller has the same look and feel. The only thing that might be considered different between the two is the weight of the controller. The wired one doesn't have a heavy battery pack attached, so it's not as bulky as a wireless controller although I hardly noticed the difference so it didn't effect my game play whatsoever. Would recommend this controller to gamers who are tired of their controllers dying!

The overall rate I give this controller is a 2. I know it's kind of low but my statements come from the heart and I'm a very honest person. To me wired controllers seem to have some problems that wireless controllers don't have. The cords get tangled up and that's how the controller usually gets ruined unless you get mad and destroy the controller yourself by throwing it or pounding it. Wired controllers will most likely break faster than wireless controllers so...do the math.

The microsoft xbox 360 controller is probably one the best controllers that money buy. You can only buy the controller in a couple colors but thats not really a deal breaker. Because the controller is extremely comfortable and just fills your hands great. The controller does have a thing on the cable that connects in to xbox 360 so incase someone trips over the cable it will detach and not yank your system on to the floor. Which is a really feature if you have any little kids or pets that like to run around your house. The controller is also made well because you can just feel it in its weight when you pick it up. My controller has seem alot of playtime and it still gets the job done. If you don't have to worry about replacing batteries in your controller than this is most likely your best option.

I bought this controller for my PC mainly. I was not sure how I was going to like it or not, but I really needed a controller for some of my games on PC. First off, the packaging was easy to open. When I opened it, I was very eager to try it out. When I held the controller, it felt amazing. The shape of the controller is fits nearly perfect in my hands. The analog sticks move amazingly and the buttons felt responsive. The only downside is the Directional Pad. I don't know, but it just seems to be very unresponsive and it slides around a lot. I don't know what direction I am pressing when I am using it. The good thing is that you rarely ever use it in gameplay. Installing it onto my Windows 7 computer was very easy. I thought I was going to need a driver, but I just plugged it in and it installed itself quick and simple. This controller beats out the PS3 controller pretty easily, sadly. If you need a controller for your PC, buy an Xbox 360 controller, they are the best to use.

For Christmas I received a new Xbox 360 wired controller. I got the new black wired controller because it goes much better with the new Xbox 360 Slim then the white one did. Also, the new black controller looks awesome as well with the black looking much sleeker than the white. The old white controller I had was always having problems with the D-pad, and it never selecting the direction I actually chose. The new black controller is awesome. The D-pad wroks much better than I expected. Also, many people might ask why use wired when you can get wireless. Well, one its cheaper, two its better for competitive gaming, and three most likely you are sitting within ten feet of the television which the controller cord stretches to easily. The contorller was a great purchase since it looks much better and works better and comparing it to Playstation 3's controller it is much more comfortable in your hands.
