The Microsoft LifeCam Cinema Webcam is an affordable and very practical web cam for anyone looking for a camera that is easy to install and simple to use. From the time I removed this camera from its package, it took somewhere around five minutes before it was up and running and I was able to use it to communicate with friends and family via skype and other software programs. The software included with this camera is very simple to understand and use as it takes snapshots and video with one click of a mouse. From there, it is very easy to edit the snapshots and video using associated software. As for the clarity of images, the Microsoft LifeCam produces very clear, wide-screen images with the option for high definition quality. I have used this camera using skype many times and have heard many comments regarding the clarity of the image that it produces. The price of this web cam is a bit more than many of the cheaper models but the extra cost is worth it considering the quality of the image it produces.

Let's see..where do I begin other than saying this is only the greatest web cam I have ever had. I do a lot of Skype because I have relatives living in South Carolina and Florida and this is great for that. I also use Yahoo Messenger and MSN Hotmail and it works great. The picture quality is perfect but it has slight problem...it takes forever to focus somethng up close and in low light it focus's itself a lot. Other than that, I have no other complaints. The sound quality is good for most, but for me I don't care how it picks up every little noise like if I click the mouse, the person on the other end can hear it. I have not used the video making feature yet but I plan on it. I tried it for a couple minutes and it was in good quality. The size of the webcam it is great. I thought it was going to be big and clunky like most cameras out there on the market, but its not. It's small and compact and it's great to take on the go .I just wish they would have made like a carrying case for it or something..but all around I am happy with it! Great product! and a good brand to buy!
