I really wanted to like the Melitta Single Serve. I was excited to find one at a great price at a big box store. From the beginning, there were issues. I noticed that I seemed to have to refill the water tank well before it seemed I should. Usually just getting a couple of cups of coffee out of one tank. I also often had to press the brew cup button several times for it to work. The biggest issue was leaking. The spout leaked a lot. I had to keep another cup under it after brewing because it leaked so much. The spout height also caused an issue for bigger mugs. If I wanted to use a travel mug I had to brew the coffee into a cup and pour it into the mug. I know it's not a big deal, but it was a hassle. I would not recommend this product. My father in law got the same model and has had similar issues, but he appears to have more patience than me. I have packed mine away and moved on to a different single cup brewer.

I Love coffe and use to drink at least a pot a day. Then came the bad news that because of stress I had to cut back on my coffee intake, it was making my heart flutter. So I would make a whole pot of coffee and have to throw out most of it, what a waste. I saw some really fancy ones which also had a fancy price tag to go with it. Then I found my Melittas and I just love it. I found out that you dont have to buy Melitta's pods which is good cause I have trouble finding them in the stores I go to. I buy a bag of regular and a bag of decafinated pods and only make as much as I am going to be able to drink. It also assures me that when I have company over I serve them a fresh cup of coffee every time. I am not sure how hard the other pod coffee makers are but it is so easy to use when my Grandsons are here I dont even have to make it cause they love making coffee for me with this machine and have no problems. Great price and Great machine, what more could you ask for. Brew Performance makes great coffee Ease of Cleaning much easier to clean th the bigger ones Ease of Use not much to it, very easy to use. Grandsons love to make me coffee with it. Design looks very nice and doesn't take up alot of room Durability no problems with it and it getsuseda fair amount

I love this coffee maker for making single cups - since I'm only an occassional coffee drinker and the only coffee drinker in our house.  However - the Melitta pods are not easy to find.  Senseo pods are everywhere - but those are a tad big.  If I press them down into the Melitta pod holder REALLY WELL - it works well.  But if there's any overage, the maker leaks like a seive!  Love the taste - hate when that mess happens.  Wish there were single cup makers that used a filter and loose coffee, because those pods get expensive.  All in all a good product - but Senseo is becoming the VHS of pod-makers and Melitta is the Beta - hard to find and soon to be outpaced in the market.  Anyone know how to make your own pods???

I got the Melitta One-on-One Coffee Pot at a annual Melitta sale and it has been a great asset to my kitchen.  It makes coffee a cup at a time and there are a variety of flavors to choose from (both decaf and regular).  We enjoy the ease of making the coffee as well as cleaning up afterwards.  I would suggest this pot to any one who doesn't need to make full pots of coffee all the time.

  I enjoy coffee but my husband does not like me to leave the pot on as the coffee gets nasty tasting after awhile so when I saw an offer online to get the Melitta One Cup Coffeemaker and a years worth of pods, it was easy to say yes to try it. Now I have had it for over a year and there is no way I could do without it and bought a second just in case they get discontinued. The coffee and tea flavors are really good and usually what you can't find in a grocery store. I can easily get 6 cups of tea out of one pod as I like it a little weaker than most people.   We are avid tea drinkers and I can stick the pod in and fill a pitcher to put in the fridge. Or, I can leave the pods out and just heat water for cocoa, other teas or whatever is needed. It doesn't take long to come up to the right temperature and evn when I'm cooking and need hot water to add to recipes, I just leave the coffeemaker on and take out what I need . The pods are even carried at our local hardware store now and are even cheaper than I can get them online, as so many people in the area have bought the machine. Several were on my recommendation.

The Melitta One is a great time saver for the hectic morning routine most busy moms have.  It is a simple machine to use and clean.  Fill the water tank, put in the pod, push the button and you are done.  I love it!  It only takes about a minute for the water to heat up.  There are two cup settings you can use.  One for a mug and one for a cup. When you are done, you just throw away the pod and that is the end of the clean up.  The quality of the coffee will depend upon the pod you use.  Most pods will fit in this machine.  The Melitta pods are okay, but there are many online stores that sell all kinds of pods that are really good.  You can also get pods for tea.  I would recommend this machine to anyone who needs a quick cup of coffee in the morning or anytime.  It is sleek looking and does not take up much counter space.  The only downside would be if you had a large group to make coffee for.  It would be doable, but would take a while.  I highly recommend this machine.

The ease and non-messy way to have just one cup of coffee at a time is just wonderful! I love that I don't have a coffee pot and filter to mess with and clean every day. I can have a small cup or a full cup, too. I have tried the other kinds of coffee makers at different times since I got my Melitta, but I always go back to the Melitta. The coffee tastes so good and I can make it so quick at any time of the day. I just wish the stores would have more of a selection of coffee pods that would fit my machine. I think more people would purchase one if they had a variety of coffee pods at the grocery store.

This pod coffee brewer is very easy to use and makes a quick cup of coffee.  It is very noisy when brewing, and it does not press the pod the way the Home Cafe pod brewer does, which is why I did not give it 5 stars.  The coffee is like fresh brewed and is much better than instant coffee while being just as quick.

The first month I had this, it was great... lots of choices for pods, convenient, easy to clean.  BUT THEN... it's like Melitta wanted this to become obsolete as soon as I bought it.  You can no longer get pods, except by mail order and the shipping costs are more than the coffee!  The water leaks down the front and the coffee leaks back into the water reservoir.  The reservoir is made of plastic and begins to smell after a short time - regardless of how often it's cleaned or how.  There is no customer support.
